Fun staff and environment, but they messed up my hair. Took an hour to give a fade and trim the top. Asked to keep the top the same length and he cut it really short. Fade was inconsistent. There were major mistakes with the back of my hair that I had to come back and have them fix, they made me wait 20 mins. You might have a good experience, but in my opinion it's not worth the risk.

Their prices have increased 40% to $35 for a haircut since the last review mentioning price five months ago, and I wasn't able to find official prices listed anywhere online. That's their decision, based on what they think their service is worth, but to be cash-only at that price level is ridiculous.

Great cut at a great price—a combo that’s damn near impossible to find in NYC anymore. I’ll be back soon asking for Miguel.

Not only was I recommended to come here, I was well taken care off. I just needed my sides shaved off and the line touched up after a previous expirence from a different shop had messed up my shape and line. Ralfe not only fixed it, but a week later, the cut still looks neat/fresh

That's some longevity to a style worth paying for.

Requested for keeping my length and just thinning out my hair with thinning g sheers and they couldn't follow that direction. Double check the dude who cuts you knows what you want.

*EDIT* It's just that when I asked for the barber that took care of me to use thinning sheers and he grabbed the wrong scissors before I pointed it out to him those are the wrong ones and then didn't know how to use them I was just questioning my decision at that point but other than that great atmosphere in the place and very friendly. Updated my rating slight due to that alone.

My family and I come here for haircuts. Really friendly team, I usually get my head shaved with fun designs with George and always happy with the treatment and results.

If you're thinking about trying this place, just go and do it.

I moved to the area in 2021 and tried a couple of overpriced, hippie barbershops where they charge you $40- 50+ per cut. They all were worse than Headrush. Go to Headrush and get a cut from Keidy for $25. I have gotten tons of compliments since coming here.
