Shannon is absolutely amazing. She has found a hair routine that fits me and my hair. This is the best my hair has ever looked and felt! She is the best colorist I have ever been to!

I moved to Clayton a year ago and had to find a new stylist. I went to McKenzie, and was blown away! I got a balayage and a hair cut, and I have gotten sooo many compliments! You can tell she loves what she does, and takes pride in her work! I have found my forever hair stylist, and have another appointment booked! 100% recommend!

I am very particular about my stylists! We are new to the area and my daughters and I have all been to see McKenzie. My daughters went in for back-to-school haircuts, and I have been several times now for color and cut. She is a great stylist and a pleasure to talk to as well. We will be making her our “family” stylist for myself and my girls.

Love McKenzie! My daughter and I have very different hair textures, from curly to thin and straight, and McKenzie is knowledgeable of both. She not only is great with our cuts and pampering treatments, but also with teaching us how to care and style our hair in ways that are “in fashion,” but not “cookie cutter,” suitable to our hair types and reflective of our personal style. I've been going to Shannon at Hair on Main since 2005. Even as I later moved to Raleigh, I still drive to Clayton to have Shannon do my hair. I completely trust her with my hair and no one knows color like she does. She genuinely cares about your hair, a fact demonstrated most recently by the hours of research she put in to turn my hair a beautiful mix of salt and pepper. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else to do it right and I'm getting so many compliments, even from strangers!
