I came in today as a walk-in to add layers to my hair. I don't know the name of the woman who washed and massaged my hair/scalp, but that experience was absolute heaven! She massaged my temples, behind my ears, even my neck in addition to my scalp. I honestly felt the tension and stress of the whole week just melt away. I would come in just for the wash haha.
I was placed with Shirley who cut my hair exactly how I asked her to. I came with pictures, and all I had to do was show her one, and she was off to the races. She did such a wonderful job. I left with the haircut I wanted, and the whole thing cost $30, which is such a great value.
I really enjoyed my experience, and will absolutely be back :)
I wanted a curly blowout, instead of that the hairdresser made my curls with a straightener so the curl only lasted 20 minutes. My hair roots are very badly done. At the end, she forced me to give tips to the washer who hurts me so much and to the women who done my blowout so badly. I don’t recommend it at all. It’s a wast of money.
Dirty tools especially hairbrush and unprofessional hairdressers. I dropped by and asked to do a simple haircut, just to trim ends of hair. Look what I got.
Disappointed and not recommend it at all
Every time I go there to do wash blow dry they raise the price! Horrible customer service. Never again! They use to be cheap and now they charge whatever they want because it’s bayridge. Not for me.
Harris is my go to for a haircut now. Started cutting my own hair when the pandemic began and finally decided I was comfortable enough to get cut by a professional again. I liked that this salon was still taking COVID precautions with mask requirements and asking customers to wear as well. Most of the barbershops in the neighborhood haven't been wearing masks for months and I wasn't comfortable taking the risk of getting cut there because of this. Glad I tried Hair Culture II and was lucky enough to get Harris on my visit. Skillful in his cut and gave me exactly what I wanted. I'll definitely be returning. The other stylists here seem knowledgeable and good at what their doing. Highly recommend!

I am not one to ever write reviews, but after a day before my graduation my usual stylist completely forgot about our appointment sending me into a mild panic, I had to quickly find another place. I walked in on a whim after reading good reviews here and am very glad I did!!! I cannot attest to how they do color, but for a haircut and styling with a blowout, I couldn’t be happier. Everyone there is no nice, place is clean and they listen to what you need!! I had Shirley do my hair and I was very happy. Definitely recommend!!! Thanks so much for saving my hair a day before my graduation!!
Among the better options in Bay Ridge. Prices are very competitive (circa $12 for a haircut). Always open. Just walk right in. I'm not sure they even take appointments. You won't wait long. There has been slow turnover in staff over the years. But nearly everyone is skilled and quite friendly.
