The owner of this business is so kind and humble. She has many staff that can braid and crochet all types of hair from Afro Caribbean to European hair. Her prices are reasonable. The staff are professional and treat ALL their clients with respect. There is also a lady that does good eyebrow waxing, threading and also natural looking eye lashes. Good work guys!
Got my hair into box plaits at the shop as a first timer. Highly highly recommended! Very polite and helpful in making sure they don't just do whatever when doing your hair. Friendly and very nice to talk to! Completed to a high quality and I'll be recommending friends to come here too!

I come here often when I visit from the states and am always pleased with the level care they take with me and my hair. I’ve never had a bad experience.
The braids and twists last a long time before needing a touch up and all of the stylists are very kind.
Prices are more than reasonable as well. Do make sure to stop by and see for yourself.
The hair dressers at Hair Affairs are all incredibly knowledgeable about hair and were able to get my cornrows exactly how I requested. I received lovely service in a warm and vibrant environment. I'll certainly be a regular customer from now.
The lady who did my hair was lovely, patient and very friendly. However, I found the owner of the shop to be very rude, dismissive and not warm at all. She is also very bad with contact as she never calls back when she says she will, nor does she respond to messages. I contacted her two days before my hair appointment and told her that I had a wake to attend on Saturday. Therefore, I could not come to the shop on Saturday and could come either on Thursday or Friday morning. She said she would call me on Friday morning to confirm the time I should come. I called her all day Thursday and messaged her to confirm the time and got no response. Therefore, I did not know what time I should come. I took a chance despite working on Friday and went there in the morning. When I spoke to the actual hair dresser she had no clue that she was supposed to be doing my hair. So the shop owner did not tell her. I then asked the shop owner why she did not contact me and she said in a very abrupt and sarcastic tone "I was busy and I told you to come on Friday"! I replied very irritatingly "That is not what you said and I have been expecting your call. You never even called me back or responded to my message"! She then replied again sarcastically "Oh sorry then"! I was furious and could not wait to get out of there. Her apology was very insincere and I just found her to be very unprofessional and annoying! I will never go back there to do my hair again!
I received the best customer experience from the owner of this salon. She’s hospitable, hardworking and very friendly and did I mention she’s super good at what she does.. Ma,I’m definitely sure you would see more of me in the coming days and years..
The woman braiding my hair was amazing - she did the exact same style as the picture I showed her but altered it a little to suit my head shape / curl pattern better. The salon manager is also so lovely and made sure I was happy with every braid. Definitely coming back.
I went to hair affairs for dreadlock extensions, and I have to say they were excellent. Good customer service, reasonably priced and did the extensions to a good standard. They had mixed staff, so could cater to different hair types. I would recommend them to anyone looking for hairdressers
