Green Oaks Apartments

My experience at Green Oaks sucks. Been there 4 years never missed a rent payment they don’t fix nothing when needed they don’t care nothing about your family They all in that office talk to you like you trash does things in an illegal manner. I would not recommend no one waste there money renting there. They’ll say one thing then it’s another. They there in the office curse at you talk down to you they don’t know how to talk to you so they did me a favor pet friendly there not. They dont specified anything on nothing and they don’t give you your security deposit back and leave you out on the streets with 2 young kids without any warnings 5 days they give you I would recommend no one rent from them.

This place is absolute garbage I definitely would not move here unless you plan on having rent increases every single year if you want to get fined $500 for putting window stickers during holiday seasons, lying to other rental properties saying you don’t do this and that when you have proof that states otherwise Green oaks will lie and give you a bad reference so that you can’t go to another place the staff here everyone there is straight garbage. Been here two years and regret all of it.

Moved in the apartment wasn’t cleaned properly. They didn’t clean the carpet. The carpet still had pet hair in it. Walls had hand prints on it. They painted over hair. Can’t control the heat either you’re melting or freezing. Been sharing my apartment with bugs since I moved in. Maintenance barely understand English so they barely know you’re talking about that need to be fixed. Walls so thin you can hear others talking and doing the nasty. Just happy my kids room is in the middle and not next to the neighbors wall cause they would hear everything. They’ll come tell you your music too loud but can’t even tell you when they’re going to turn the water off. Then when it comes back on it’s yellow. Oh and forget going anywhere when it has snowed because they barely salt the walkways or parking lots. Just don’t waste your money! Rent too much for all these problems.

Ive been a Tenant for 5yrs & Never had a Problem. Great Staffing, Secure Area, Upgraded Apartments, 24 hour Maintenance.

I want to take the time out to post here about my experience here in Green Oaks. I have been here for 6 years now and moved in when I got divorced. It took some time to get in because there were steps that were followed and now I see. The area here is quiet, very convenient to major highways and great schools. Denise and Tamekia will take that extra step to make sure things are getting done when work orders are out in. We all know everything isn’t going to be perfect and things will break but the time to get these things fix is done in a timely matter and I haven’t had any complaints with repairs. I do know they make sure their residents are happy by taking that extra step if needed. All the units has been updated to the modern look. I’m very please living here as I just signed my lease again.

This is the second time I have lived at these apartment complexes. The first time I lived here was for 3 years and they gave me my security deposit back in full. Green oaks is the only place I have lived that did give me my security deposit back. I have lived here this time for almost 9 years and this has been the best apartment complexes that I have ever lived at. One of the reasons I chose to live here was the 24 hour maintenance. Anytime my apartment needed something fixed or replacing, everything was done in a efficient and timely manner. When our refrigerator did not work they came out to my apartment within’ The hour to fix it. When the heat did not work they fixed it that night. Anything that was not received, or overlooked on janitors lists of work orders. Or whatever the case may have been and two days passed, when I spoke with the manager she had it taken care of right away and it was followed through. Which only happened ( twice) in the nine years. I have no complaints and you get a lot for your money’s worth. They also, promote “ community” togetherness as private residency by holding special community events here for all of the residents and hold special doing for the children. We get to know our neighbors and are appreciated here at green oaks as residence. When you have any problems that arise or to address, even suggestions they are always willing to listen and work with you. They have rules to ensure the property stays clean and kept up. They do remodel and modernize the complexes and made a lot of new additions on the property. I would recommend living at green oaks to anyone who is wanting an apartment.

Please don't waste your time or money trying to rent here! I followed all the necessary steps and heard nothing from the Green Oaks apartments for a month no contact ,once they took my money, I contacted them and was the background check could take up to 15 day but it had already been 20 days and no one reached out and when I called about the deposit the whole staff was rude and unprofessional, I mean were talking about a hundred dollars ,I can only imagine what they'll do if you have any real issues! Stay away from this complex!

Green Oaks, is a very nice, living community, in a great location of, Palos Hills. I’ve have lived here, over some time now. Management, and office personnel, have always been, very professional, and courteous, and also respectful, to my needs, as well, as last minute needs, (emergency repairs, and so on). My building is usually clean, and was recently remodeled, and updated. I’ve always had good ,respectable neighbors, Which is something hard to find, anytime you move some place new. I checked a few, different living communities in the area, before picking this one, and I will continue to refer, Green Oaks, to anyone looking for, a quiet ,affordable ,suburban living experience.
