Best barbershop in the San Joaquin Valley. Throughout the years I’ve gone to many barbershops. Thus far Goldstar has been the best in service and consistency. It’s more than a barbershop; it’s a family and everyone who comes in is always welcomed. Sometimes I just go in there just to hang out because the atmosphere is always positive. Each barbers has their own magnetic personality.

Love this place and all the barbers there, especially Andy! Almost a year ago I found this place and have never stopped going to Andy. I've not only found my favorite barbershop in Visalia but some good friends as well! Thanks to everyone there that makes the place feel so welcoming!

I went to a number of good barbers at multiple shops during my first 8 years in Visalia, but I found my favorite 5 1/2 years ago with Jae at Goldstar and I've been with him ever since. He, and the shop, are just that good. Besides the excellent job he does cutting my hair, the shampoo/scalp massage after the majority of the cut has been done is outstanding! 5-stars plus!!!

Best barbershop in Visalia hands down every baber in the shop is skilled but my barber in the shop is Valerie she is awesome she always works her magic to make me even finer than i already am which is hard but some how she does it so if you're looking to get a bad ass haircut come here the other shops will make you look ugly as hell

Everyone there seemed like great people but Valerie was the stand-out. She was fantastic. I've spent years seeing the same barber somewhere out of convenience and familiarity and not always getting what I wanted. Valerie listened, asked questions that were responsive to what I had said and she actually gave me what I asked for. She's intelligent, funny and professional.

The atmosphere at Goldstar is the quintessential Barber Shop. At 56, I've likely had close to 300 haircuts in my life and this one stands out.

I may travel back to Visalia from Sacramento just for this.

Both boys love getting their hair washed and getting pampered too! They live up to their name… gold stars all around!

This is my boyfriends top place he goes to get his hair cut and beard trimmed. Val is really awesome at her job and my guy comes out looking amazing every time. The owner and staff really seem to take pride in what they do. They always offer something to drink while you get your hair cut. It's got an old fashioned feel to it, which is really cool and welcoming.

Valerie is outstanding! She booked me last minute when I really needed a haircut and did a fabulous job. Valerie is highly skilled professional and on point! Please go see Valerie at Goldstar Barbershop and receive the excellent service that I did. Highly recommend!!! Gold star? It should be called five star!
