The Chinese food on offer is excellent! Makes up for the simple ambience. Service is prompt, courteous and efficient. Must be popular for takeaways can imagine. Nice location close to Windermere train station and clean restrooms. Punches above its rating!
Very good restaurant with nice vibes.
Small and cosy, we had to come back in half an hour as there wasn't any space.
The food was lovely and also the price.
The owner was running the business in a great atmosphere with the waitress.
The ambient music was also popular and the volume was just right.
Seriously gone downhill since it has been taken over by new owners. We've tried it a few times since and it gets worse every time. The photos are of my deep fried squid that has been shown the fryer at most! Soggy and no flavour and the Prawn fried rice was flavorless and have 4 prawns in it. Do not recommend this place anymore!

good service, decent duck and scallops, tastleless tea.. food was underseasoned to suit local taste i presume, but ok once i added em myself. nevertheless, cheaper than london chinatown i guess
Nice Chinese in Windermere, lots of choice and food is good too. Sadly not more stars is purely down to opinion and I'm comparing too other restaurants not in the area such as Manchester and Liverpool.
