The haircut this place gave me has basically ruined my self esteem. I should have listened to the star rating for this place, but I was in a pinch and needed a haircut fast.

I explained explicitly what I would like to hairstylist (just trimming the sides, mostly shaping up the edges at the bottom, absolutely nothing to the top because I am trying to grow it out). I gave very explicit detail and explained to her how previous places haven’t listened and done wrong, and she practically joked at the idea of that happening. Unbeknownst to her at the time of joking, that she was about to do the worst haircut of them all.

Despite being explicitly told to not take off any thing at all from the top, she managed to get rid of half the hair on top of my head and all of my bangs without me even noticing she did THAT much up there before I looked in the mirror, seeing myself with a completely different hairstyle than when I came in.

This may sound like a dramatic review, over a haircut. But my hair will quite literally take months to get back to the post where it was at. And I was planning on meeting new people and making friends at school here, but not with my head looking like this. I’ve paid $15 for better haircuts that lasted about twice as long, versus $25 I paid, not even tipping.

Great atmosphere and a quality haircut. Highly recommend.

I got my hair cut today at this business and I am very disappointed with the service. I have been to it before and have not had any bad experiences.

I could tell from the start the stylist was in a rush, as they were trying to wrap the gown around me while I was still trying to sit down.

When I sat down in the chair the stylist asked me what I wanted. I showed them but they were not even looking at what I was showing them as they were in too big of a rush getting their equipment ready. I did not speak up as I thought that they may ask me again later. They cut it much shorter than what I wished and not in the manner I wanted it cut.

During the whole process it was like they were trying to rip my hair out rather than cut it , again because they were in such a rush. Maybe that sounds like an exaggeration but it shouldn't be painful when you are getting your hair cut.

It is unfair to judge this business on this one bad experience, but I feel something has to be said to help prevent others from getting the same level of service I received today.

Driving through town and I looked in my rear view mirror and realized how crusty I looked. So I popped in(first time visit because I’m from Auburn.. War Eagle) and Brittney gave me that HOOK UP. Now I’m out here in these streets looking crisp and clean. A whole 10/10.

We absolutely love Kayla at Gentlemen's Grooming. She does my husband and 3 year old son's hair, never disappoints.

The stylist was in a huge rush. My sideburns are terribly uneven. I got my hair cut and shampooed in 13 minutes. Seems to me like it should take longer for a business attempting to promote a premium experience. I paid $30 for a haircut I could’ve gotten at great clips for $15.
