David is off the hook! Very professional and knowledgeable! I came in as a walk in because my normal barber flaked one me again! After that first cut I knew he was gonna be my barber after! All the guys at the shop are dope! Great vibe! Clean shop! Very welcoming! Highly recommend these guys here!
I shaved my head, but my son loves going here. Staff are all great, and you definitely get the small town vibe. The conversation ebbs and flows as locals dip in and out, sometimes just to talk, sometimes to get their haircut. We found this place after losing our old spot after the pandemic. I have a feeling it will be our go-to for a long time.
I’d like to say taking my son Ezekiel here for the first time was a great experience. We have been searching for a barbershop here locally in Gilroy, and we are very pleased with David who cut my sons hair. We will definitely be coming back again. My family and I have been getting cuts at Garlic City Barbers for the past 2 years. Every barber in the shop has top quality service. David is my go to guy but be assured that both Cesar and Randy will also provide excellent work. Highly recommend.
Javier was so kind to my 4 year old son! My son is terrified of getting his haircut and has moved and cried whenever they bring out the electric trimmer. Javier did a great scissor cut to cut the long locks then gently spoke and explained to Isaiah the tools he was using and stopped often to make sure my son was comfortable. So thankful we have found a place that takes the extra time and attention to make a child feel good about his hair cut!
Been coming here for over 6 years. No other shop has given me the quality cuts and attention. Always get great service and treatment. All barbers here have great experience and help you leave feeling more confident than when you walked in.
Was visiting Gilroy and decided to try out a local barbershop. Now having been at okay-at-best barbershops in my local area my whole life, I wanted to try something different. And although some may find these cuts to be a little on the pricier side, I firmly believe there is a stark difference in quality. There are levels to this. And there will be no doubt that you are getting the service and quality that you are paying for. I had David cut my hair twice already and now I'm partial to the service and quality that he brings. I promise you: it will be worth it.
Have been coming here for about a year, and I don’t ever second guess switching barbershops. I always receive a quality cut, worth the price, and very professional. Every time I arrive, the crew is always in a good mood and they really make you feel welcomed when your there. Overall Garlic City Babers is one of the best babershop out there and you can tell they care about their customers.
