Quick Facts About Forte

Forte Place is a cafe in Berwick that has received mostly positive reviews from customers. It is important to note that the comments provided by customers are subjective and based on their individual experiences. These comments can give us insight into the strengths and weaknesses of the cafe, but it is important to consider them in relation to other factors as well.
One of the biggest strengths of Forte Place, according to several comments, is the quality of the food. Customers have specifically mentioned the fantastic lasagne, cannelloni, Mac and cheese, toasties, stovies, and ice cream flavors like orange marmalade. The variety of the menu is also highlighted as a positive aspect. The cafe seems to offer a range of options, including breakfast, lunch, and sweet treats like cakes and ices.
The service at Forte Place is also praised by customers. The staff is described as friendly, warm, and kind. The service is said to be very good and faultless with regard to adhering to COVID-19 rules. This is important for customers who value a pleasant and safe dining experience.
Many customers appreciate the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the cafe. It is described as a little hidden gem and a great little cafe. The environment is said to be lovely, with a lot of history. Additionally, the cafe is described as being clean, which is an important factor for customers in choosing where to dine.
Another strength highlighted in the comments is the quality of the coffee. It is consistently described as superb and nice. One customer even mentions that the coffee is very big, which could be seen as an added value for those who prefer larger servings.
On the other hand, there are a few weaknesses mentioned in the comments that should be taken into consideration. One customer mentions that the tables in the cafe are very close together, leaving very little elbow room. This could be seen as a negative aspect for customers who prefer more privacy and personal space while dining.
Another weakness is that Forte Place only accepts cash payments. While this may not be an issue for some customers, it can be inconvenient for those who prefer to pay by card or do not carry cash with them. However, it is worth noting that the comment recommends going to a nearby cash machine to withdraw money before dining at the cafe.
One comment mentions that the breakfast options at Forte Place are very basic and only offer a top price option with a set combination of food items. This may be seen as a limitation for customers who prefer more flexibility in their breakfast choices.
In conclusion, Forte Place has several strengths that make it an appealing cafe for customers. These include the fantastic food, friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and quality coffee. However, there are a few weaknesses to consider, such as the close proximity of the tables, the cash-only payment policy, and the limited breakfast options. Overall, it seems that most customers have had positive experiences at Forte Place and would recommend it to others.

Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Last week popped in for a coffee and ended up having a fantastic lasagne and my wife a cannelloni. Best we've ever had, it was delicious and served with warmth and great friendliness. Coffee was superb too. A little hidden gem.
The tables in this cafe are very close together with very little elbow room, that said the menu is varied and our meals were excellent and the service was very good, on our visit it was cash only but there are three cash machines nearby.
Amazing food had a Mac and cheese amazing stringy lovely environment kind people and a lot of history
First place we came to upon revisiting Berwick. Great little café. Why go to Costa, Café Nero when they're twenty to the dozen! Highly recommend the affogato. ????
We were delighted to find this lovely cafe on our first day in Berwick and went regularly during our week's stay. We would recommend the home made soup, toasties, cakes, stovies, ice cream (especially the orange marmalade flavour) and the excellent coffee. Service very friendly. Very clean and adherence to Covid rules faultless
Good old fashioned cafe. Decent food at a reasonable price. Cash only so go to cashline first.
Coffee nice and very big.
But breakfast very basic and top price only option is bacon x3 sausage x3 scrambled eggs and beans. Nice clean cafe good toys for kids but I'd recommend more lunch menu than breakfast.
Pleasant little old school cafe selling ices, cakes and (I'm sure) other stuff although we didn't see the menu. But the staff were lovely and friendly and we enjoyed a good cuppa
