I took my teen age child to get their nails done. The nail tech did a wonderful job just by looking at photos of what my child wanted done. The place was very clean and the techs were very nice.

I was in town visiting my sister. This is the nail studio that she faithfully goes to and we went as I wanted to give her something for her birthday. I understand why this is her" go to nail studio" they were professional, clean, patient, and builds relationships with their customers. We both had pedicures and walked out relaxed with pretty toes????

I once lived on this side of town and this was always my go to nail salon. Even though I live farther away I still come here for the personable way that I am serviced. The staff is always friendly and smiling. They make you feel like you are welcome and that my business is appreciated.

I'm here in Sumter on travel and chose this place based on the other reviews. Forbidden Nails was super clean and everyone in there was incredibly nice. I also had an interesting design I wanted the girl to do on my nails and she "nailed" it. Pun intended. :) Definitely recommend this place.

Y'all let me tell you what! Go see John! That man hands work miracles. My feet were hurting so bad but he did his thing and now I can put on socks without feeling any pain! Thank you so much John!

I asked for the first picture and got the second picture. I read the reviews about this place. Thought I was going to get an awesome massage and gel polish manicure. Showed the guy who I believe was named James a picture of what I wanted. While I was looking through polishes that he kept bringing to me (over whelming in a sense) he says it doesn’t have to be exact. Then continually to call me “baby”. No massage.. he wiped my nails off files them then paints them. While he was painting the lighter decided to tell me that it was a difficult color to paint on... after about 10-15 min he was done and well you can see the results... I was not offered any options or anything... just rushed into a chair when I walked in and rushed pretty much out! Don’t waste your time or money here!!!!!!!! (FYI I have NEVER written a review before) worst experience EVER!!!!!

My nails turned out beautiful. There is no denying that.

However I will never go back to this business.

I received a toenail change and a fill set. Due to foot surgery I had my big toe wrapped and had a follow up appointment with my podiatrist to remove the tape. Therefore my big toe was not able to receive the color change that I requested on my feet. I informed the women doing the service (table 2 to be exact) that I was getting the tape and splint removed today so that she could finish my color change. She agreed and told me that would be fine. Unable to make it back the same day I came in the next day to finish the service. As she started to repaint the nail she told me halfway through painting that it would be 5 dollars. As I looked at her confused…I proceeded to let her know that this was a finish up service to the one I paid for the day prior. She informed me that “ Because I did not come back the same day for that the service, the toe color change would be five dollars.”

Here is my issue with this. I was not informed this prior to leaving the nail shop. As well I showed up the next day for one toe to be serviced. Because I paid for a full nail change service and one toe was unable to be done the service was never fully rendered. However I am still asked for additional funds to finish the service!?

After spending over $100 plus a tip I felt that some level of customer service and customer retention would be thought about. Thank you for the beautiful nails however I do not believe in your policies nor your response to a dissatisfied customer. I hope your business flourishes however I hope you learn from this situation.
