Went on Chinese New Year (22.01.2023) due to celebrations the streets were very busy, we were waiting in the queue for 45 mins! HOWEVER, the wait was absolutely worth it ????
The service was very efficient and very friendly staff. The food food was delicious, we had steamed / boiled dumplings ???? we had 15 with pork and mushroom and 15 with pork and vegetables- totally recommend ????????
We also had egg fried rice ???? and pork belly vegetables-was delicious as well (didn’t have that strong smell or taste of pork which is very important for me). There were people in the queue who were there a few times already and keep coming back. Definitely recommend the place if you are after good quality tasty Chinese food. Definitely will be back.
Unfortunately our dinner at this restaurant was an absolut disappointment. The meat was so fatty (way more fat than meat itself) you could barely eat it. The coke got served in a can with a straw instead of a glass which might be alright in a fast food restaurant but was not appropriate in a place like this.
The service was not particularely bad, it was simply barely existing. No one asked if we wanted to order anything else or took away the dirty dishes until after we left.
The marinate of the preserved egg and tofu was amazing and more so that it was a new taste for us and this made the experience special. The chili oil noodles are phenomenal! Our new fav place in China town. I’d recommend you book a table in advance so you skip the queues but bare in mind they don’t take reservations on the weekend. Service was good too.
Super lekkere all you can eat Hot pot gegeten! Je krijgt veel en lekker eten voor een zeer goede prijs midden in China Town! Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening!????????
Disappointed by the quality of the food. They specialise in hot pots & barbecued food. Perhaps we chose badly but our hot pot was essentially deep fried chilli chicken which was more batter than meat. Nothing else stood out.
We had chili oil noodles, an aubergine dish and plum juice. Everything was super delicious. Friendly staff but the service was very slow, we had to wait around 30 mins to eat.
Legit. Can’t claim to be an expert on regional Chinese cuisine but the quality of the food was objectively great.
We shared lamb skewers, smashed cucumber salad, biang biang noodles with lamb, and chilli green beans (which was superlative). The menu is full of dishes ranging from the familiar to the esoteric (beef aorta!)
The service was brisk and efficient if impersonal but that’s not really why you’re going, is it?
Very buzzy and packed on a Wednesday night, get there earlier (before 8) to avoid queues.
