I’ve been to this shop a few times over the years and I always leave as a satisfied customer. Fatima is a real braider she did boho box braids and they turned out beautifully. Most notably she parted and greased my scalp with hair oil instead of clogging my scalp w/braiding gel. She is very sweet w/great customer service. Highly recommend her services!
Fatima, of Fima’s Hair Braiding, is a gifted braider. She listens and delivers swift, neat, beautiful, eye-catching designs. I love her work and her shop is very clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Her prices are reasonable. I recommend this shop highly.
I had four jumbo braids done and the quality was not worth what I paid. The original price was $15 a braid that’s $60 and the lady wanted to charge me $90 . She didn’t trim my hair after braiding and the hair she used seemed old or reused . Only good thing I can say is workers are friendly but the quality hair and braiding skills for jumbo braids is not it.
She got me in within an hour after another place canceled on me. She was so kind and had 2 people do my micros in 4.5 hours for only $180. They show you a test braid and are open to braiding less tight. It was worth the trip from the north side. I'll definitely be back!
I went in to get bohemian box braids, showed the lady exactly how I wanted it. She said the person doing my hair would be arriving soon. She combed my hair from the root not the ends first. Pulling out big clumps of hair. I told her twice to comb from the ends to root. Once she was done doing my hair it looked horrible, I felt like I had an untamed lions mane on top of my head. She didn't oil my scalp or anything. They over charge for hairstyles they don't properly know how to do. I would never go back there again. Worse place I've ever been to get my hair done!!!!!
Dropped in to see if had any available appointments, in addition I need my hair done in 4 hours. Fima took me right in got two wonderful ladies started right away, in two hours half of my head was done. I have been getting my hair braided for over twenty years and this service was hands down the best. If I am pleased I am a loyal customer, so I will be back. Thanks for getting me together for my new promotion at work!!!!!!

The shop is clean, organized, the restrooms are clean as well the ladies are very nice and respectful and made me feel very welcomed. Fima braided my hair she took her time my braids are neat the exact size I asked for, she had to stop a few times but she advised me of what she needed to do and could I give her a min. I only had the top part done it took her 6 hrs, She did not take a break when there food came she told me she would finish me up first. I would highly recommend this place and Fima, her sister Rose braids like her too as there was 2 other ladies there getting there hair braided. I think they all braid good but I’m a lil picky on techniques ( if you get braids a lot then you would understand where I’m coming from) I had no problem with parking either she will show where you can park without getting a ticket if you not from the area.
This was my first time goin to Fima. I called and scheduled my appointment and on the appointment day she was there before me. Me and my daughter was getting our hair braided. The ladies were nice and respectful. The facility was very clean. They did both our hair just the way we asked and they did an excellent job. Very happy to have went to them. I will be taking me and my daughter back to her before the beginning of school. Plus we were done in a reasonable amount of time. Much faster then my last few experiences elsewhere.
The second time I went in to schedule and appointment. I made it on time to my appointment but when I got there, there was a walk in. Fima then asked me can I come back the next day due to none of her workers answering there phones. Fima calls me at 11 that night to schedule a time for 6am the next day. I was like great. Me and my daughter who is 11 gets there at 5:50. I wait until 6:15 to call her because she hasn't come yet. I called her over 20 times from 6:15 until 7. At 7 I looked online for somewhere else to go and found someone who was willing to do her hair at 8am. At 7:30am Fima call me to tell me she just woke up and will be leaving out shortly. She then call me at 8:30 to ask where I was. If I would've waited for her I would've been waiting for 2 and half hours. That is just UNPROFESSIONAL and rude to people's time and commitments.
