Quick Facts About Far Cross Chippy
Far Cross Chippy has received a mix of positive and negative comments, indicating both strengths and weaknesses of the establishment. In this analysis, we will explore these factors in detail.
One of the main strengths highlighted by customers is the quality of the food. Multiple reviewers praised the fish and chips, with one stating that it was "as good as I've tasted in a long time." They mention excellent batter and crispy, fresh chips. This positive feedback indicates that the chippy has a good understanding of how to prepare quality fish and chips, which is a crucial factor for any fish and chip shop.
The efficiency and speed of service are also mentioned as strengths. One customer mentions that the staff cooked a huge order for their company in record time. This indicates that the establishment can handle large volumes of customers and effectively manage their operations. Efficient service is crucial in the food industry, and it is commendable that Far Cross Chippy has managed to achieve this.
Friendly and helpful staff are praised in multiple comments. Customers mention that the staff were a pleasure to deal with and provided good service. This positive interaction with customers can enhance their overall experience and contribute to customer loyalty.
Another strength that is repeatedly mentioned is the value for money. Customers mention that the prices are reasonable and that the chippy provides great value. This is an important factor for many customers when choosing where to eat, and it is positive that Far Cross Chippy is delivering in this aspect.
Despite these strengths, there are also weaknesses that have been pointed out by customers. One reviewer mentions that the chippy is expensive and the quality is not the best. They found the batter on the fish to be soggy and the fish itself slightly dry. This suggests that there may be inconsistencies in the quality of the food, with some customers receiving less satisfactory meals.
Another customer mentions that the fish was small, and there was no cod available. They found the haddock to be small and dry with a strange taste. This indicates a potential issue with the availability and freshness of certain ingredients. Providing consistently fresh and high-quality ingredients is essential for a fish and chip shop.
Although most comments mention positive experiences, it is worth noting that one customer found their visit disappointing. They specifically mentioned that the fish and chips were the worst they've had. This negative feedback raises concerns about consistency and overall customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, Far Cross Chippy has several strengths, such as the quality of the food, efficiency of service, friendly staff, and value for money. However, there are also weaknesses, including potential inconsistencies in food quality and availability of certain ingredients. These weaknesses should be addressed to ensure consistent customer satisfaction. Overall, customer feedback provides valuable insights for the chippy to improve and strengthen its position in the market.

Best chippy in the north west!
Always a treat to get a bite From here.. friendly efficient service and great value ????????
Found it very expensive and quality wasn't the best. 17.10 for standard fish, cheesy chips (tight on cheese) a mini fish and chips and a tub of curry sauce. Batter on fish was a bit soggy, and the fish slightly dry. Certainly won't rush back.
Great Fish & Chips. They cooked a huge order for our company in record time. Very friendly and a pleasure to deal with.
Excellent Fish and Chip restaurant on my old stomping ground.First rate across the board...
Really impressed, chips crispy and fresh, superb fish - as good as I've tasted in a long time with excellent batter. Topped off with homemade mushy peas. Fish not as big as many modern chippies - but size isn't everything...... Absolutely memorable!!
I was away with my boyfriend and we read the reviews for this chip shop and decide to try it. Unfortunately it was the worst fish and chips I have had. Fish was small no cod available. Haddock was small and dry with a strange taste would try another shop if your looking. Sadly disappointed.
