i called to see if they had walk in availability for a last min gel mani/pedi and they not only were able to squeeze me in but did a great job!! both techs took their time on my gel polish to make sure the color was bold n solid, really appreciated their work and time put in! prices very reasonable- tips r cash only and appointments definitely preferred, would def come back
This was my first time using fairmount nails and I was not disappointed. Despite the negative reviews, I can honestly say I loved the way my nails.came out. I got a gel pedicure which came.out great and then I got a dip powder manicure with tips. I have tried other nail salon in the areas for dip manicure and alot have no idea what they are doing but this place does or at least Rachel who did mine does. I'm very happy with how they came out! I would recommend especially if looking for a dip manicure.
Both experiences at Fairmount Nail salon have been great!! Anna and Katie are so sweet and friendly. Both did wonderful jobs doing my acrylic nails. Highly recommend going here.
Can’t believe it’s only $15 for a refill!
I called they were able to do my toes and nails because they are open late. Very nice ladies. I was sitting for a few minutes and a lady came out to start with my toes. Before I was seated she turned on the chair so I could have a massage while she took care of my toes. After doing my toes she did my nails. I was in and out in about an hour. Thanks.
I really tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt because it’s conveniently in walking distance for me. In addition, Anna usually does a decent dip manicure for me on the rare occasions that I actually would get her after asking for her for every reservation. Every. Single. Time. I book a reservation for either a manicure or pedicure I sit and wait at least 20-25 minutes past my reservation. Today was my last straw because I ran out during my lunch break for my 12:30 appointment and really didn’t have wiggle room to wait. I was on time, sat for 15 minutes and realized that I was not getting service soon. I asked how much longer it would be and she informed me that it would be another 15 minutes until either of the only 2 girls working were done. I’m sorry but don’t accept reservations if you can’t handle them then. Simple as that. Will not be going back.
Love my new nails! I walked in this Saturday afternoon. I waited about an hour in the acrylic smells but that was worth it. I got a full set of acrylics with extensions for $34. The lady was very nice, fast and professional. I will come back!
I love getting my nails done here so much that even after moving to New York City, I still come back to Philly to get them done. Their prices are great for the quality of work that they do. Although, I'll only go to Anna to get my UV gel manicures.
Great experience! Manager/lady-in-charge is so kind and obliging, and she does a fabulous job! My acrylic nails always look like natural nails! <3
