This used to be my favorite salon. Recently I have tried all salons around Ankeny to look for a regular place to go every 2 weeks. I made this my last stop because I was hopeful for it. I was very happy with my nails for the first week but now the top coat is peeling off. It’s only been 6 days since I got them done. I honestly am so disappointed that I was charged so much for nails that didn’t even last a week. I think I’ll be doing my nails at home from now on.
I left a review 5 years ago so I thought I would update it to say this is still the best nail salon I’ve been to. I regularly get my nails done and can’t remember a time where I had an issue. As you can see, I keep my nails short and Vince does a great job with the length.
My fiancé and I get pedicures from time to time. My fiancé has rough and ticklish feet. Kelly does an amazing job on fixing those man feet for him!

Just a basic pedi and an acrylic fill with gel polish for me this nail trip. What *wasn’t* basic was the gentleness and attention to detail Eric showed today when taking care of my nails. Also, definitely the best pedicure foot/leg rub I have ever had. Worth mentioning is the calm and peaceful atmosphere and decor of the shop. A lovely experience from start to finish. Thanks so much!!

I’ve been to 7 different nail salons since I moved to Des Moines a year ago. “T” at Emma’s nails gives the BEST powder dip manicure. They’re not bumpy and thick like so many others I’ve had. She takes time to be thorough and detailed - she’s a gem!
My nails are crooked and different lengths and when I said something he said my fingers were crooked. Beautiful color on my nails though. And my full service pedicure I paid for the Polish is already coming off I've never had that happen I mean it's only been 4 days since I have my nails done usually I don't leave reviews but I was so dissatisfied after spending so much money there.
