Ganz tolles Cafe mit einem super Preisleistungsverhältnis. Ich gehe immer hin, wenn ich in Brighton bin. Es gibt alles vom Toast bis zum Cottage Pie und mehr. Die Bedienung ist auch super nett.

So nice.. high quality, fresh, delicious, tasty food. They have vegan and vegetarian option too. I had vegetarian breakfast quite filling and good for budget. Definitely go again.
Booked a table for 7 for Sunday evening. We eat out in Brigjton as a big family regularly. Pleasant and friendly greeting in arrival and given a choice of table. Very friendly waitresses who attended to us quickly. Not very keen on the menu , not enough starter choice for me and I struggled with what to choose. As did others in the party. Never mind we persevered . Roast looked good but then told no beef ! So that was an upset too. Food took a while but we were all busy catching up on news and family stuff. Food was very good and the roasts especially Hot and fresh , lots of vegetables.on the side. Too full for pudding but wanted liqueur coffees but no cream! So that was disappointing too. And then 10 percent service charge added which I suppose is ok but if I'd like to make the decision myself. Nearly £260 was the total bill which was not bad but it didn't blow any of us away. There is a lot of competition in Brighton so would try somewhere else next time.
If you are in Brighton and you want a sure bet this is the pub for you.Good service, wide choice bars and seating areas and the food is tasty and wholesome. We have all done the traipsing round the wet cobbled streets looking for a good pub, this is it!
The Elm Grove Cafe is very local to me and sports the usual big breakfast scenario but with an additional twist of offering alongside the great traditional hangover fry up you can also indulge in freshly prepared Mediterranean delights. This cafe offers a huge selection of both meat and veggie options.
Went here on a weekday evening. Was quite empty. Took quite a while to order, which was a recurring theme. Seemed understaffed, although service was pleasant when it arrived, albeit sporadically. Restaurant area seemed quite cold. Ordered a green super food salad with halloumi. This was 13.50, and although quite nice it was essentially some salad leaf a few sprigs of broccoli and four small pieces of halloumi. For that price it was quite ridiculous, although tasted good, if you werent overly hungry. No toasted seeds as billed on the menu. Overall ok, but wouldnt go back.
I was very excited to try this Caffe after a the good reviews. The place was charming with a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the food was pretty disappointing. I ordered the Mediterranean breakfast and my boyfriend order the Spanish omelette and a burger.
I don't want to be very strict for the Spanish omelette, it has to be a bit wet in the middle but this one was extremely undercook, green peas was an extra that was completely unnecessary and should never happened. The burger was offered with salad. And we got a few iceberg lettuce leaves with the meat and the bread, for £4 I don't expect gourmet burger but I this is to much. The Mediterranean breakfast felt like I'm paying for the name, most things tasted like they were just put in the plate from the fridge little to no effort was put in this dish which I paid £9 for. We ate everything anyway. I'm sad because I wanted to love this place and I believe that just with a bit more effort could be great instead. I'm not sure if I want to give a second chance but I really hope they hear the feedback to get better.
I’ve been going to this cafe for years and unfortunately the food has gone really downhill along with cleanliness, whilst the prices have been increasing quite a lot.
The staff are great and really friendly however recently the portion sizes have got a lot smaller, the chips have been swapped from the old delicious steak cut breakfast type to some skinny rock hard French fries with no inner potato all whilst the prices have increased. Also the hot water was turned off within the toilets presumably as some sort of energy saving measure , so there’s no sanitary way of washing your hands, and the shelf with sauces was covered in fruit flys.
Unfortunately that was my last visit to this cafe and I’ll be looking at alternatives going forward
