The atmosphere was great thanks to the owners who are in front of the house who are very accommodating. If you don't see something on the menu they give you plenty of options that aren't on the menu. It's quite expensive but we will visit again definitely.
The most amazing warm welcoming restaurant, beautiful food, lovely staff and friendly atmosphere. Nothing to much trouble for Tony and Cathy they go above and beyond to make this a 5 star restaurant
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Fantastic as always.Lovely ambience. The food never fails to impress, service very friendly and unhurried- always nice to have a short break between courses to savour what you have eaten.
Cath and Tony are famous in the area for their warmth and humour and I don't know how much the chef earns but it's not enough!!
If you haven't visited Ellington's don't wait a day longer, you won't regret it. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Amazing restaurant, lovely atmosphere and decor and the staff were great. The food was incredible, literally the nicest steaks we've ever had and the sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce... wow! Definitely going back.
Great menu, good variety
Great food and drink selection. All staff really nice. The steaks they were cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back could not recommend enough. As far as restaurants go in Crosby area it's one of, if not the best. Sam and Olivia.
Lovely food and the staff were so friendly. We didn't wait long for food even though it was really busy. We will be back again
Went to this place early November with friends and was totally bowled over by it. The ambience is relaxing and smart but not so much to make you uneasy. Really interesting menu, not cheap but not over the top expensive either. The food is cooked to perfection and you get a decent portion not like in most places where you pay a fortune to have very little and end up going to the chip shop on the way home. Just the right wait between courses. 2 course meal eaten in about 2 hours which was nice and easy with chat in between.
Staff are friendly and attentive and ready to advise on any dishes you are unsure of. Drinks are a bit expensive if you have mixers and this was something I will be getting around in future. Buy a bottle of wine and drink from that but over £16 for 3 gin and tonics is a bit much.
Have booked to go again just before Xmas as a special occasion and really looking forward to it.
