The first time I went was nice. The guy was so sweet. And I got an amazing set for only $40 (refill) when I came in yesterday I got a lady I’m guessing the owner ??? Idk she has the absolute worst attitude and even snapped at me when I told her what I paid previously. She did amazing on my eyebrows but wanted to charge me $70 for a fill in. She snatched my hands often and threw them back to put into the gel polish light. Her attitude was DISGUSTING and yet I still tipped her. She wears the micky mouse Gucci mask and works at desk 11. Even though I loved the way she did my brows I won’t be back for fear of her attitude. I didn’t even get the style or color I wanted. I was hoping I found a good place finally in Statesboro but yet again I was wrong
I’m usually one to write reviews good or bad and would much rather write a happy one. Unfortunately, if I had written this when I first went the outcome would be a lot different. Each time I go it just gets worse than the last. The last time I went I had dips all throughout my acrylic that you could see, the older man before that was very rough and cut almost every cuticle to bleed. I really tried to give them a fair shot but unfortunately can’t anymore. Avoid this place!
0 stars in regards to customer service. I usually go to Inails but they were closed so I decided to give Elegant Nails a chance, big mistake! The man doing my pedicure cut off a lot of skin on the side of my nail leaving a small opening then preceded to paint over it resulting in burning and discomfort. I assumed he knew what he was doing so I didn’t say anything. After leaving I noticed swelling on my toe. I called and they told me to come in only to look at me as if I was dumb and refuse to give me a refund. I came for a pedicure but left with a swollen toe!! 0/10. The man was very rude and acted as if it was my fault.
I’ve been here before and had an okay experience, but after today, I won’t be back. I showed the nail tech a photo of what I wanted and he assured me that he could do it. While watching him attempt it, I realized that he could NOT! Then he was acting like I was inconveniencing HIM by telling him that he wasn’t and making him fix it! If I’m paying MY money for a service, it’s going to be done HOW I WANT IT! I also brought my 2 little girls for manicures with gel polish and those aren’t much better. (Photos are of what I asked for and what I got. I’m sure you can tell which is which)
I wish I could give this zero stars. I paid for a fill in for my acrylic nails. First off, it took them 20 minutes for them to get started on me, which is ridiculous. Secondly, the man, who im assuming is the manager was very rude and impatient while completing my fill in. Fill ins there were $40 (which makes sense because I had a gel manicure), so I wanted my nails to look the same as they did before.
The man was giving a lot of attitude as I tried explaining to him the design that was on my nails beforehand and how to do it properly. Each time I observe the shape (to see if any lines were crooked or looked similar to the picture shown), i heard him let out huffs, roll his eyes, and essentially throw a fit. I understand that he’s not perfect or probably not trained to do certain designs, but if that was the case, he should’ve asked someone else to do it.
Lastly, after accidentally messing up my nail, he scowled at me and proceeded to complain. For the remainder of my service, he had a nasty attitude. I will definitely not be coming back here. I don’t care what the situation was, but his behavior was completely inappropriate. Customer service should be the #1 priority ALWAYS.
I walked in and asked how long of a wait for a pedicure. The gentleman said no wait, you are next. I sat there for 20 minutes only to leave. I normally wouldn’t complain but this isn’t the first time this has happened here.
There were several employees just sitting there not helping anyone so there is no reason why they couldn’t have completed services. This place has really gone down hill over the years.
Would not recommend them to anyone nor will I consider ever going back there.
I have been going to this nail salon for some time and every time it gets worse and worse. For one, the service is always slow. Most times I just come and get my eyebrows waxed and sit there for over an hour waiting. Today, I went and got my nails and toes done and this is how my nails look. The first nail tech couldn’t even do this simple heart design i asked for. The second nail tech was so impatient and acted like the design was too difficult. These nails places want to go up on price but don’t want to keep up with current design and sharpen their skills. The tech could even do this simple heart and the chanel is a sticker. When i was getting my nails done i was undecided if i wanted eyelash extensions. When i got back to the room i asked the lady how long is the wait for eye lash and she said i’m too indecisive and i would have to wait until she’s finished. I simply asked how long is the wait.I don’t understand why she got so upset by me simply asking questions and deciding. I’m not in an rush. I could sit there all day. If i have to wait then i will, that was no problem for me. But i refuse to deal with attitude when i’m paying my money. If you take walk-ins why are you rushing me? I could walk out and walk back and AND GUESS WHAT- Still be a walk in. Y’all want to raise the price, we’ll increase your skills as well!!! And again, I’ll sit there all day and make up my mind if i’m paying for the service.
Terrible business. I sat there for 4 hours with NO SERVICE. Everybody kept getting up and walking away, i had 3 people work on ONE set (Toes and Nails). Andy was very aggressive and kept burning me. He refused to fix my nail as if he didn’t see it was messed up. Not even a week later, my nails broke. Instead of fixing it, they continue to charge me for every nail. if i could rate a 0 i would. they won’t get my service again.
