Had such a lovely time at Edisons, with some of us having afternoon tea and some ordering from the menu. Ian, and the team, went out of their way to make my friend's birthday special. Service, food and atmosphere were all amazing. And they're doing good, as a social enterprise too. What's not to like?! ????
This place is excellent, the service, staff and decor are all wow factors and then the food that is delicious tops it off! Everything is done well, and the staff's effort to make sure the customers ate well looked after is impressive. The finishing touches, from the cute design on the coffee to the branding throughout and the attentive staff make it not only a nice place to eat but effortless and a really enjoyable experience. To top it off the price point is great too. Can't recommend it enough.
Tucked away beside the Cathedral, Edison's Coffee isn't immediately obvious. Inside, there is a good amount of seating available, that goes a long way back. Table service is standard.
Food and drink is good, but the prices seem a little too high for the quality of the coffee and food. The toilets, hidden away upstairs at the back, are very reminiscent of school bathrooms.
A brilliant experience with a quaint steampunk setting. The main food was delicious but I was disappointed that one of the cakes on offer was a Daim cake from IKEA, doesn't fit the homely theme if it isn't made in house. Otherwise a great experience and highly recommended
Nice place to have breakfast or lunch. Comfortabele seating and very friendly staff. Food is delicious. I would very much recommend this.
Very friendly staff and great atmosphere with great all day menu I had the green tea today and also tried their ice cream before which they were both excellent.
Their prices are decent and in general very comfortable place to hang around.
Old refrigerated cake which cost me £3.50 and an average latte. I wonder how many days ago that cake had been baked. Could not eat it. If you want cake go to Marmadukes. Three stars for clean tables and quick service and central location.
Comfy relaxed atmosphere. Didn't feel rushed to leave. Lovely cappuccino!
