Belly stuffing portions with reasonable prices plus it was pretty quick. Unfortunately the staff seemed overwhelmed and we had to continuously ask for things twice. They had no cutlery for us and weirdly gave us hand sanitizer clothes to use. The floor was very slippy with what I can only assume was grease and the toilets were under par. The staff were doing their best but it was just too busy for how many there were. Overall I would recommend it but maybe go during quiet times if they exist.
Really aren’t impressed at all. Was seated and had to wait 30 mins to be served, baring in mind 2 couples were seated after us but served before us. The food is very expensive and not that impressive. Burgers half the size but triple the price! Soggy onion rings and okay style chips.
Only thing I can say was excellent was the shakes. They were very tasty but the food was a huge let down! Cost me and my partner £40 for 2 burgers and 2 shakes! Disgraceful! Won’t be going there again even if the shakes are excellent
Loving this American Style Diner. The restaurant is big with many seating. The food was nice and the coffee was nice as well. I live their donut as well. Will come again
Wasn't impressed with the all day "big Ed's" breakfast.
Undercooked sausage, mushrooms looked like they had been in the fryer for half an hour and the eggs were raw on the top with bits of egg shell for good measure.
Staff all seemed miserable as sin.
We love coming here. The food is amazing and the staff are fantastic. Our group had a number of dietary requirements which the staff were absolutely on the vall with. The gluten-free options are amazing.
Been a few times. Lovely food and milkshakes. The staff are great. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a diner including the jukebox music and decor style.
Food was ok but you seriously messed up on giving my diabetic girlfriend a full fat Fanta when she specifically asked for zero, didn’t find out until she had drank one of them. Completely lost trust unfortunately.
We visited Ed's diner today during a trip to Cheshire Oaks today. The food was good - we had Nachos, wings, burgers and loaded fries. There was a section of the menu (breakfasts) that they were unable to do which was a shame and there was about a 20 minute wait on food but otherwise a good visit!

Quick Facts About Ed's Easy Diner
Ed's Easy Diner is a popular American-style diner that offers belly stuffing portions at reasonable prices. One of its strengths is the quick service, as mentioned by a customer who stated that it was pretty quick. This is important as it allows customers to enjoy their meals without unnecessary delays.
However, the diner does have some weaknesses that need improvement. One recurring issue is the overwhelmed staff, as multiple customers mentioned having to continuously ask for things twice. This indicates a lack of coordination and efficiency in the restaurant's operations. In addition, some customers reported a lack of cutlery and being given hand sanitizer clothes instead. This shows a lack of attention to detail and proper preparation before serving customers.
The state of the floor is another weakness that has been pointed out. A customer mentioned that it was very slippy and assumed it was due to grease. This raises concerns about cleanliness and hygiene standards in the restaurant. Furthermore, the toilets were described as under par, which suggests a lack of maintenance or cleanliness in the restroom facilities.
Despite these weaknesses, many customers still recommend Ed's Easy Diner, particularly mentioning the belly stuffing portions and reasonable prices. This indicates that the quality and value of the food are strong points.
One customer mentioned that the shakes were excellent and very tasty, showing that the diner excels in certain areas, such as their beverage options. However, another customer expressed disappointment with the food, mentioning that it was expensive but not impressive. Soggy onion rings and mediocre chips were mentioned as specific drawbacks. This suggests that there may be inconsistencies in the quality of food at the diner.
The atmosphere and decor of the diner were praised by some customers, who mentioned the jukebox music and style. This can be considered a strength as it provides a nostalgic and enjoyable dining experience.
The level of service provided by the staff is also mentioned by multiple customers. While some praised the staff as fantastic and great, others noted that the staff seemed miserable and overwhelmed. This indicates a lack of consistency in staff attitudes and suggests that training or management practices may need improvement.
One positive aspect mentioned by a customer is the diner's ability to accommodate dietary requirements. The customer specifically mentioned that the gluten-free options are amazing. This indicates that the diner has taken steps to cater to a diverse range of customers and provide suitable options for those with dietary restrictions.
Overall, Ed's Easy Diner has strengths such as belly stuffing portions, reasonable prices, quick service, and accommodating dietary requirements. However, it also has weaknesses in areas such as overwhelmed staff, lack of attention to detail, cleanliness issues, inconsistencies in food quality, and inconsistent staff attitudes. These weaknesses should be addressed in order to enhance the overall dining experience for customers. It is recommended to visit during quieter times to avoid the potential issues raised by customers.
