Need a couple of hrs away from it all? This is the place to go. Many trails to follow. Ideal for walking, cycling, running. Bring the kids and the dogs, bring a picnic and enjoy it beside the water. If you want bring a treat for the ducks, preferably not bread. Call in at the sensory Garden or call in at the market garden and take a pic with Slemish in the background. Enjoy.

The ECOS visitor centre is on the outskirts of Ballymena. The centre highlights environmental issues and promotes a sustainable future. It's a great location for walking, running, picnics and bike riding. The woodland walk passes close to the motorway at one part, but everywhere else along the walks is peaceful near a river, lake or willow, apple and hazel trees. Its a good place to see wildfowl. There's plenty of free parking and all the walks are flat and tarmaced.

This place is rubbish. Children no longer have access to anything. We used to enjoy walking around feeding the ducks and the children playing on the swings and slide. Now they harass you if you dare to enter. There is nothing of interest inside the building.

Lovely place, lots of wooded walks and interesting things. Lovely cafe.

Haven't actually been in i run the Park Run 5k course that starts and finishes here. But have heard great reviews of the cafe inside

Love this area for my morning walk, very nice and lots of other walkers around. Visit around 2-3 times per week.

Fantastic facility for renewable energy pilot and innovation, great facility, conference , meeting room and great food

What an absolutely lovely cafe with beautiful food, and the walks make it a wonderful place to stop by
