Best service!!!! And my hair is very very kinky and she was able to still get it super straight. My blow out last me for a month !! I will be coming back!!
I used to come to this salon before the pandemic to get my hair done by Rossy. She’s a great stylist & my hair always turned out really well. But I don’t think Rossy is still affiliated with this salon. I asked for blonde highlights, and my hair is red & orange. Absolutely not what I asked for...and I was charged $345!!!!!!! The first picture is what I asked for...the other 3 are how my hair turned out.
If I could give this negative stars I would, I took my 5 year old daughter here who is very tender headed with mixed hair. I told the lady beforehand that she was and we needed a wash and trim. I sat back with her as she got a wash and combed her hair and was extremely rough with her. My daughter was trying so hard to not cry but eventually ended up crying and the lady yelled and said what? What happened? She then put her hair in a clip and told us to go to the front. We sat up front for a while then went back to wash her hair out then brought her over to a chair and didn’t even let her sit down. She brushed her hair and put it in braids and then cut the ends off and tried to charge us $30!!! I said absolutely not, I could of done that at home way better.. she threatened to call the cops and I told her to go ahead and I’ll show them the price board and let them know what happened and she yelled in my face and cussed me out infront of my 5 year old and pretty much pushed us out of the door. DO NOT ATTEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. Horrible customer service.
I went there today and I must say I was pleased. I was greeted, she was polite and pleasant. She did a great job on my hair and I’ll be back.
I was shocked and surprised that this place has natural hair salon included in its name because they were not very good with my natural hair at all. The lady who did my hair was very rough, I left with a headache. She didn't hold the hair near the root and detangle from the ends to ease pressure. She was just tugging and pulling. Next, she applied heat directly to my hair without heat protectant and used a fine teeth comb to detangle my hair. She didn't even detangle with a wide tooth comb first. I'm very familiar with natural hair care and I do know that what I experienced was not good for natural hair at all. I paid $100 for wash, deep condition, blow dry and these cornrows which IMO were not that great. Service was okay but overall it was not worth it. I also had to ask repeatedly for the overall cost but made sure to get an answer before she washed out the deep condition. If I had relaxed hair, I feel the experience may have been better but natural hair... no.
I recently found this hair salon & I have gone 3 times in the past two months. Fifa is very friendly and she does a bombing blowout. Not all stylists blowout my stubborn edges but Fifa is on it. The salon is also very cute with an insta worthy backdrop for pictures.
My only con for the salon is that I asked for the prices for specific services at my first visit and each time I got to paying for the service she changes the price to a higher price. I thought it was a mistake the first time so I didn’t say anything but the next 2 visits she did the same thing and I said something and she ended up charging the original price she told me. This is why i gave 4 instead of 5 stars.
Finally found someone who can cut curly hair! And at a good price. She washed, untangled and cut mine for $30. She even blow dried it for free because there was no one waiting behind me. I recommend it!
WORST Dominican hair salon ever! She gave me a trim that I didn’t even ask for and then took 2.5 inches off of my hair and kept trying to cut more. Then she charged me $25 for a “cut” on top of the $50 wash and set for a whopping total of $75!!!!! When I proceeded to say “I didn’t even ask for a cut and I had to stop you from cutting even more than that” she said “fine I’ll charge $70 just for you” MIND YOU my hair was frizzy before I even left the salon. Such a waste of my hard earned $70, I will NEVER BE BACK!
