Decent place for a haircut. I went on a Sunday and there were only two barbers. I waited for about 1 hour as I didn’t have an appointment. Overall a good place.
Divine barbershop is the best hidden Little Gem in Riverview.
Berto is a professional who's arguably the best barber you will ever find. His prices are affordable, his skill is masterful and you will leave with the best haircut you could ever have along with a lasting impression that will keep you coming back again and again until the day you lose all your hair and then you might just want to pop in for your beard cut.
The most horrible Haircut ever!
My 3rd time for a haircut here and it was done by a different barber - a young African guy. I told him all the requirements and he did everything opposite to what I told him. What's worse than a barber who just did his own way and disregard what the customer wanted? I asked him to tidy up the hair and gave it a bit of texture and cut just a little bit and he cut so much of my hair and it is so short that the hair has no style even when I apply hair gel to it. I asked him not to cut my hair short and he trimmed 80% of my hair. I asked him specifically not to cut the hair at the top short and leave the hair covering the forehead and he cut all of that! It looks like a prisoner haircut! There is no hairstyle at all. The hair is now extremely unbalanced and it looked like he never compared the two sides of the hair and just cut randomly. I even have the a bunch of hair sticking out on the top!!! How ridiculous! I have never had such a horrible haircut in my entire life! I don't believe the barber was ever trained or even knows how to cut hair. I can easily trim my own hair blindfolded and have a haircut much better than this!
Impression for the first haircut:
Although I waited for an hour, but it's worth it. I always think that it's better to go to a busy barber shop than a quiet barber shop.
The barber was really attentive and he asked me to check to make sure the hair length is good enough. And my haircut was great! I love it!!!
The haircut my son received was wonderful however if I could give it five stars for the haircut and The Barbers and two stars for the cleanliness I would. There was roach crawling on the wall and ants on the floor candy on the floor. There should have been better attention paid to cleaning up the hair as well. We will still be back and I'm hoping next time more attention is paid to the cleanliness
My son and I have been going to Berto since we moved to Brandon 2 years ago. Take is from someone who knows the difference between a barber and someone who cuts hair, Alberto is the best of the best. He takes his time and really cares about his customers. I like that I can call or text ahead and make an appointment. For a man who works full time and has 2 kids and 1 on the way, it makes life very easy. Divine Barbershop is so relaxing, I about fall asleep in the chair every time I visit. If you’re looking for a tight fade, blowout, scissor cut, beard trim, edge, or anything with a clipper, or straight edge, Berto is your man, and Divine Barbershop is the place to go. Oh, and he is great with kids, my 5 year old son loves him.
Marc M is wrong! this place is professional and on time. He was frustrated because he pretty much lost his place when he left the barber shop and new customers walked in. I’ve never been to a barber shop where you can leave and keep your place in line especially if other customer s are waiting. The bars we is not going to sit there and wait for you to come back. You gotta sit there like everyone else or call and make an appointment like I do. Divine is the best place around to get a cut that makes you feel good. Hector has been cutting my hair for Almost 7 years and he never lets me down.
The barbers are quick and efficient. My son has just gotten what I believe to be the best haircut he has ever had and he is 10. Love that the barbers dont talk your ear off when your in the chair either.
Great Barber Shop! Everyone is very welcoming, highly recommend.
