Best PlaceJuice Reviews

I have been coming here for years now and specifically only go to Jenny the owner. Lately her work hasn’t been as up to par and perhaps it’s because now she rushes to get to her other client. My last visit was definitely disappointing, I made her aware I was not satisfied with my nails and when I gave my feedback she became rude and defensive. She then had a complete attitude change. When paying for the services I asked why it was much more this time (prices fluctuate a lot) and again she became rude and defensive. After the whole interaction I went home not to happy about my nails but I definitely didn’t want to leave matters as they were so I reached out to her via text expressing how she made me feel. She then went on to tell me she doesn’t need my business and not to return. I couldn’t believe someone who conducts business could careless about a clients opinion. I am truly appalled by her reaction a lack of professionalism. I hope future clients of hers are treated with respect. Also here are pictures of my nails only afew days after seeing her. I had a matte finish that then peeled off. For someone with years of experience this work look very amateur and I’m very disappointed I really love this nail place but now looking for a new one :(
I wish I could have had the same great experiences I've seen under some reviews. My friend recommended me this nail salon and I booked an appointment ahead of time for a full set of acrylic nails. I have only gotten gel done in the past so I trusted the process and thought the woman doing my nails would fix any mistakes I noticed later on. Nothing was done to my cuticles, so there was acrylic and polish on my cuticles and they were very dry after. Now that they are grown out, you can see on some nails there is a small gap between the polish on the bottom and my actual nail; it looks as if its about to lift, but nothing has lifted yet which I am thankful for. In addition, I asked for almond shape and almost all the nails are slightly different shape or uneven. I said the nails were uneven and it felt like nothing was fixed; she filed the nails and painted over again even though I clarified I was concerned about the shape of the tip being uneven. She charged me a little more than I was initially asked to pay. I don't know why my experience was so different than others but I unfortunately don't intend to come back. This picture was taken immediately after my appointment.
Horrible pedicures and even worst nail designs. I'm not a difficult person. If you can't do something then say so. Don't ruin my nail design, and expect a good review.
Today was my first time there and I had nothing short of a wonderful experience. Not only was pricing fair, but my nail tech(hailey) was awesome at what she does. I am very happy with how my hands and feet turned out. I will be returning in two weeks.
As always, 5 star service. They are always so courteous and inviting. John did an excellent job. He was very patient with me and did exactly what I wanted. Love my nails.
It was ok. I feel like if you're coming out of pocket $70 after tip for a manicure & pedicure , ($30 gel manicure $28 regular pedicure) you deserve a decent foot and hand massage. They basically just rub lotion on you.. I can do this myself at home. I wasn't completely impressed with how my nails were shaped.. again.. if I'm paying this much it should be perfect. I asked for square and my index fingers nails ended up round.
They don't look bad.. it just looks like I did them myself.
I also asked them not to file down my natural nail.. and they still buffed them down with the roughest side. Nail techs always say this is needed for the gel to stay but in my experience it doesn't make a difference and in any case I'd rather get them redone in 2 weeks than have weak natural nails. This particular nail tech went full force on my thumb natural nail with the drummel before I could ask her to stop and wow it hurt. That can't be good for your nail :(
I didn't really like the selection of regular nail polish colors but if you want gel or powder they have plenty of colors. Just make sure to ask because I was only handed one book of colors to choose from. The staff seems friendly and the place seemed clean. I've seen pictures of the acrylic nails and art and they look cool . Maybe they do a nicer job on the acrylics vs natural nails.
In summary.. it was fine. But it should be better for the price.
i’ve been here a couple of times and the first few times were actually great experiences but jenny today was very rude to me. i requested a refill and she started trying to pressure me into a full set. when i finally agreed to a full set she said she couldn’t do one and i had to come back another day. it was really embarrassing and she made me feel bad for requesting what i wanted, so i just decided to leave. the nails here are very nice and the techs do a good job but today i just did not see that represented in my experience.
This salon came highly recommended. My niece who comes here always has gorgeous nail art. She told me to book an appointment with Jenny and so I did. I have no issue with Jenny’s work. What I have an issue with is their appointment policy. How can you triple book one person ? My appointment was at 9:30am for a gel manicure and pedicure. She didn’t start my nails until 11am. And pawned me off to someone else for my pedicure. I’m a person who gives 2nd chances being that is a Saturday and my first time there. I thought perhaps someone made a mistake. So, before I left, I booked another appointment for 9am, their first appointment for 2 weeks later. Fast forward to 2 weeks later, walked in at 8:55am and the salon was already semi-full. I checked in and took a seat. 9am came and went and Jenny was still working on someone’s nails. To make a long story short, I was called at 12 noon! And to add insult to injury, it wasn’t Jenny who did my nails. And for anyone who may be wondering why I was still sitting there until 12pm, believe me the whole time I was there, I was calling other nail places to see if I can get an appointment. No such luck unfortunately.
And from that day on, I vowed I will never go back. Despite the good nail job, the salon is unprofessional and has no respect for someone’s time.
