Quick Facts About C.K. Wai Fish & Chips

C.K. Wai Fish & Chips has received a variety of comments, both positive and negative, from customers. In order to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the place, we will analyze the comments and assess the overall perception of the restaurant.
Starting with the strengths, multiple customers praise the quick service provided by C.K. Wai Fish & Chips. They mention that their orders were prepared within a few minutes, which is a positive aspect for those looking for a fast meal. Additionally, one customer highlights that the portion sizes are surprisingly large, indicating that customers get good value for their money.
Another strength mentioned by customers is the taste of the salt and pepper dishes. Many commenters express their liking for the level of spiciness and flavor in the salt and pepper mix. This indicates that the restaurant has successfully developed a tasty and popular dish that stands out.
Several customers also mention that the food is of decent quality and freshly made. This is a positive aspect as it shows that the restaurant prioritizes using fresh ingredients and maintaining the quality of their dishes. The chop suey rolls are specifically mentioned as being amazing, suggesting that the restaurant excels at certain menu items.
Friendliness is another strength mentioned by customers. While one comment mentions some issues with one staff member, overall, customers describe the staff as friendly and approachable. This creates a positive atmosphere for diners and contributes to an overall pleasant experience.
Now turning to the weaknesses, one recurring complaint is the quality of the chips. Multiple customers mention that the chips were undercooked and had a sweet taste. This indicates a consistent issue with the preparation of this particular item, which could be a concern for customers who prioritize good-tasting chips.
Speaking of taste, some customers mention that certain dishes, such as the ribs with curry sauce or the chicken fried rice, lacked flavor or were bland. These comments suggest that while the restaurant may excel at some menu items, there may be room for improvement in terms of flavor and seasoning in others.
Another weakness highlighted by a comment is the lack of a car park for the business. Although customers mention that it is easy to find parking on a side road, the absence of a designated parking area might inconvenience some visitors, especially those who prefer easy access to the restaurant.
Lastly, one negative comment suggests that the staff's phone etiquette needs improvement. The customer claims to have experienced poor service and felt interrupted during their conversation on the phone. This could negatively impact customer satisfaction and deter potential customers from visiting the restaurant.
In conclusion, C.K. Wai Fish & Chips has various strengths, such as quick service, large portion sizes, tasty salt and pepper dishes, and friendly staff. However, there are also some weaknesses, including issues with the quality of the chips, lack of flavor in certain dishes, a lack of a car park, and poor phone etiquette. By addressing these weaknesses and consistently delivering on their strengths, the restaurant has the potential to further improve and provide an excellent dining experience for its customers.

Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Just by the Rice Lane. There's no car park for the business but pretty easy to leave the car on a side road.. Ordered salt and pepper chips and ribs with curry sauce. Chips wasn't really nice (first try with this place!) a little bit undercooked for me, and had a sweet taste. I had all the portion. Ribs - mini bites- were really nice, enjoyed them. Curry wasn't bad but had no any special flavor to be honest. The salt and pepper mix was spicy enough, really liked it.
Portion was surprisingly large.
Quick service, needed only a few minutes to prepare the food. 6 minutes from bootle strand to this place by car.
I recommend this place, definitely worth a try!
Best chippy in liverpool. You won't get better anywhere else. Doesn't take cards but the shop just next door does cash back.
BEST FOOD EVER!!!!
Absolutely appalling the way they speak to you on the phone. Hadn’t finished speaking and got buttoned. Won’t be going here again.
I always make a point of visiting when I'm in the area. Chips are really good and decent portion.
Honestly it seems quite popular, clean and friendly. We ordered a chicken fried rice which was prepped really quickly. When I got home opened it up, good sized portion but the chicken just seemed undercooked, very bland, very limp and watery. Weird, never encountered anything like it before. Avoiding for a while. Will give it another go at some point.
Can anyone tell me how these make there gravie as it's so nice and they won't give out the recipe and we have moved away. really want it ????
Decent food, freshly made. Chop suey rolls are amazing. Salt and pepper dishes ars nice too.
Favourite chippy around. Was more approachable when Amy was there but rest of staff are lovely and quick to deliver top notch food! Amazing quality of food. Never have to wait ages. Flavours are amazing!!!
