A beautiful park with well-maintained trail, disk golf and baseball/basketball courts. It's so pleasant to have a walk here on a sunny day! Also a huge plus if you are a marmot lover.
Great park, that is nestled away from all the crowds you get at the other parks. Not many BBQ stations so if the pavilions are booked you cant use them. Lack of running water or a proper rest room was inconvenient. However it is a great park to spend the time with kids or to walk the track.
Circleville Park is a wonderful escape from the downtown hustle and bustle of State College, PA. Nestled against a backdrop of farmland and open space, the park features multiple playgrounds, sports fields, pavilions/grills, and a disc golf course. Recently added features include workout equipment along the paved walkways. Parking is ample and free. Visit and enjoy the outdoors!
One of the best things about living in State College is the parks, especially this one. The disc golf course is really great for quick games and is a great course for beginners, but still fun for more experienced disc golfers. There's also basketball, pickle ball and volleyball courts and a baseball field, all spaced out from each other with large fields in between. There's also a nice long walking path with a calisthenics workout area.
