What a awesome barbershop, Ron cut my hair perfect. They even used a straight razor and hot towel! I got a high and tight! I highly recommend them!

Finding a great barber shop is rare. Finding a great barber shop that is affordable is even more so. Today was my first visit to Central Avenue Barber and it was absolutely a tremendous experience. Ron was my barber due to a recommendation and Ron pulled through tenfold. He was quick, thorough, and had that old school class too him. I will most certainly be a regular now.
They were alright. They seemed to be more equipped for shorter and simpler trims. I have medium length hair and won't be returning. Good service and quality otherwise.
First time ever going there. Will definitely be back.
She did an amazing job. My son is a "big and tall" Senior this year and it was about to be picture day (for the yearbooks) and.... as per usual, he did not tell me until 2 days before picture day.
He had been growing his hair out for a couple years. So the Sophmore and Hunior school yearbook pics are with longer hair.... which is great, btw.... bc he can rock the longer hair style and/or "man bun" ANY day!
However, he wanted a clean cut and shave/trim before his Senior pics.
Soooo.... 2 days before picture day he tells me "MOM, I need to find an actual barber, like the kind we used to go to in Indy with your ex bfriend.... where they use straight blades and warm towels....
So, I searched and searched.... after looking at I dont even know how many reviews, comments, ratings and years of experience. I went with Cemtral Stree Barber Stylist.... she was OUTSTANDING!!!
We took in 2 pics we liked (different styles), but.... the problem was... although my son can grow nice,silky, long, curly locks of hair.... he is also.... not only thinning in the very top, but has receding hairlines on both sides.... just like my Father and his....
So, finding a cut that works for him is VERY challenging.... with the help of the 2 pics of what we liked and all of her AMAXING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE .... she was able to form a combination of the 2 that worked best with the type of hair he has and shape of his head!!!!
My son was SO happy with the results that he said I WILL NOOOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!
AND btw.... the price wasnt bad either! I tipped her $5 before we left!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Ron did an amazing job cutting my hair. Best barber shop in Columbus, bar none.

Best barbershop around. Just an old school shop, great at both hair and beards. I always schedule with Taylor. Exceptional attention to detail. Shaves neck with warm towel, warm whipped shaving creme, and a disposable straight razor. Just doesnt get any better than a real barber!!!!!
