Best PlaceJuice Reviews

The only reason this is 2 stars is because the woman giving my son his first hait cut was very patient. The reason I leave this review is because of a comment and reaction from a separate employee. It's already nerve racking to take your child in for their first hair cut. But I really didn't appreciate you covering your ears and looking at my child with disgust because he was crying and screaming. He was scared and didn't understand what was happening. And then to top it off and say that my son is a "bad kid" is unprofessional and unacceptable. I will not bring my child back to this establishment to be judged. I was referred to this location through friends and family. And after sharing this experience with them. They are no longer going to support that negative atmosphere.
Our hairdresser was super interactive and accommodating to our son. I loved that she talked with him and made him feel comfortable. She new exactly how we wanted his hair and delivered perfectly. The environment is super kid oriented. Toy Story 4 on the tv and a huge area to play.
My son doesn’t like haircuts. He used to scream the whole time. We found out he was sensitive to noise from the clippers. We switched to scissors only and the ladies are very accommodating. He enjoys going early to play with the toys. We usually call ahead for an appointment and don’t have to wait long.
I have a 4 year old son with Down Syndrome and I took him here specifically because I know it’s not easy for anyone to cut his hair. The stylist did an average job but when I went to pay…David L. Told me that because my son wasn’t listening and was uncooperative I had to pay an extra $10. Again my son is 4 years old with Down Syndrome this place says it specializes in kids cuts. I feel it was completely discriminatory for them to charge extra because he doesn’t communicate. Come to find out my son was crying because the stylist ended up scratching and scraping the side of his neck while she was cutting his hair. Completely disappointed in how this company takes advantage of those with disabilities. The posted prices are what I expected to pay. When asked why I was charged more David told me because he was a more difficult child.
Awesome place loved the haircut we got and the staff were really friendly
Best place to get your kids haircut. The staff is very welcoming and friendly with the kids. Have been bringing my son here for a haircut for 2+years now and they always do a great job. There is a kids play area and they always have a movie playing to entertain your child while getting a haircut. If you considering this place for your child's first haircut I would definitely pay them a visit. Keep up the great work Candyland cuts staff!
Worse place for the kids to have haircut. The place was really dirty and lady who did son haircut was rude. She was keep yelling at my son who is only 2 years old. Defiantly didn't have any experience to work with the kids. If I could I would give them zero star.
This review is not for services but professionalism. We didn’t even get to doing the service.
I made an appointment for 1pm. I called the morning of and asked if we could move the appointment to 4pm. The lady (I don’t know her name) said that was fine. We show up to our appointment at 4pm with my 1 year old. She was with another client. We wait politely for 15 mins then I ask how much longer it will be. She responds very rudely that she has another client after this. I said we have an appoint and she says they have an appointment too. I don’t unewest and why she gave me an appointment for 4pm when she was already booked. She was very rude and I would not recommend her or this place. Esp with a small child where time is of the essence

Quick Facts About Candyland Cuts for Kids

Candyland Cuts for Kids appears to have a mix of positive and negative feedback from customers. In order to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the establishment, we will examine the comments provided.
Starting with the positive comments, customers appreciate the patience and interaction of the hairdressers with their children. The staff is described as friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. They make an effort to create a kid-oriented environment by playing children's movies and providing a play area for the kids to enjoy before their haircuts. This kid-friendly atmosphere helps to put the children at ease and makes the experience more enjoyable for both parents and their children. Additionally, the hairdressers have shown flexibility by switching to using scissors only for sensitive children, which indicates a willingness to adapt to individual needs.
On the other hand, there are multiple negative comments about the professionalism and service at Candyland Cuts for Kids. One concerning aspect is the behavior of certain employees. One customer reports an employee covering their ears and showing disgust towards a crying and scared child during their first haircut. This is deemed unprofessional and unacceptable, as it adds to the stress and discomfort of both the child and the parent. Another customer shares an experience where an employee referred to their child as a "bad kid." Such negative comments and reactions are highly discouraged as they create a negative atmosphere and can drive away customers.
Another issue highlighted in customer feedback is the pricing and charging of additional fees. One customer with a child with Down Syndrome reports being charged an extra $10 because their child was considered uncooperative. This is seen as discriminatory and taking advantage of those with disabilities, especially when the child's behavior may be a result of the stylist scratching and scraping the child's neck during the haircut. Clear and transparent pricing is expected, and any additional charges should be justified and explained to the customer.
There are also complaints about the cleanliness of the establishment. Customers mention that the place was dirty and that the hairdresser was rude. It is vital for a haircut place, especially one that specializes in children's cuts, to uphold a high standard of cleanliness to ensure the comfort and safety of their customers. Rude behavior towards customers is also a significant weakness, as it shows a lack of professionalism and can negatively impact the customer's experience.
Furthermore, there is a review highlighting a scheduling issue. A customer had made an appointment for a specific time but arrived to find their stylist occupied with another client. The employee was rude in their response when questioned about the delay, which created a negative impression. Punctuality and effective scheduling are important aspects of customer service, and when appointments are not properly managed, it can lead to frustration and dissatisfaction.
In conclusion, while Candyland Cuts for Kids has some strengths such as a kid-oriented environment, friendly staff, and hairdressers who are accommodating to children's needs, there are several weaknesses that need to be addressed. These include unprofessional behavior from employees, discriminatory charging practices, cleanliness issues, and scheduling difficulties. Addressing these weaknesses and ensuring a consistent, positive customer experience will be vital for the establishment's success and reputation.
