Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Great breakfast. If you're passing by on the canal, or moored overnight, I would definitely recommend a visit.
Very friendly staff, beautiful setting and great fry up. Dog friendly too which always gets an extra star from me Thanks guys.
Very nice place with reasonable prices we had the fish and chips. Cooked perfectly. Definitely going back to them.
I wanted to tie up my boat for a quick snack for lunch but was told that I would have to pay £20 for the privilege minus the cost of the food. I explained that I didn't want to stay more than half an hour but the owners wouldn't compromise. They had to do without my business and I will certainly not darken their doors again.
Really lovely location - but be warned !
so as a boater we stopped outside to have lunch. After tying up outside (for planned stop of half an hour in total) and going into the cafe the rude lady informed us that we would have to pay £20 to moor outside the cafe.
Nothing on the menu was worth paying £20 to pay and moor so we left and went to a lovely pub with lovely food just up the canal.
Lady was quite rude and regular customers outside said 'she can be a funny bu**ar' so we won't be going there again and surprisingly in the days climate, you would think any trade is worth taking !But not today.
Can not recommend sadly.
Lovely staff and nice setting..
All our orders were wrong though (missing items, wrong items etc) bacon was like a plank of wood (which if you like well done bacon you'll love it), but not for me. Hash browns were nice, and toast was good.
As I said lovely staff and scenery, but the food / order mistakes really let them down.
3 stars for the setting and staff...
Lovely place great food and staff.
Superb setting with canal-side seating. Decor let the place down hence 3 stars.
PROS: Good and pleasant service. Coffee was good and the wine was unexpectedly - ok. Good outside seating with shelter. Parking available all around.
CONS: Decor inside is dated, cluttered and needs updating. The interior smells of grease and fried food. Small.
A great little café and canalside museum full of interesting ephemera and historical niknaks. Great food and service. Outdoor covered dining if the weather turns nasty too. Can't wait to go back!
