Dropped in for a portion of chips, took my money and said it would be a minute. Waited about 5 mins then someone came in who had ordered and he got his fish and chips and left. After asking I found out I was waiting for chips to be cooked and it was a full 10 minutes before I got my food..it would have been nice to have been told at the point of ordering that there was a 10 minute wait on chips.what's happened to good old fashioned service!
Had fish and chips here last year and remembered how good they were, so visited again last night on our trip down to the sea. Don’t think I’ve ever eaten a better fish and chip meal.
I love the fact that the food is cooked to order. So it's tasty, hot, fresh and good value for money. The staff are lovely and polite.

Honestly the best fish and chips I have had. Stopped eating it as it would make me feel unwell but as we went to the beach late thought we would treat ourselves to dinner. It was fresh and non greasy. For a family of 5 £30 was a bargain ! Highly recommend. Good social distancing in place too.
Off the main road - barely visible and only a pavement board to point you, this chippy is doing a roaring trade to knowing locals. Great service well cooked food and tastes fresh caught. Thanks guys.

Nice to find a chippy that's not expensive! But be careful of parking! It's up a side street but there are signs up you don't notice!
