Ordered a cheese and onion panini and was given a half baguette with raw onion and shredded cheese. Was expecting it would at least be heated.

The mocha I also ordered was a teaspoon of instant coffee plus a teaspoon of hot chocolate powder in boiling milk. Bit disappointing.

Other than the food, the service was great, the staff were friendly, and the prices were good. However I'm afraid I can't recommend the café given the state of the food.

Great food and fabulous service from George and his staff. Always a pleasure to back to a cafe I visited for the 1st time 45 years ago. George has renovated the complete building and it looks great. Well done.

Great food for the price! Opens early on a Sunday, which was great for us too!

Steak pie, chips peas and gravy, always top notch and piping hot, been going here for 50 years to see George and his dad before him excellent ☆☆☆☆☆☆

Tasty jacket potato, cheese and beans. Good value and friendly.

Breakfast , toast and tea for £5.50. What more do you want. Owner is a wonderful character. Cracking cheap eat
