My friend and I stayed overnight and travelled into Whitby. The staff were absolutely amazing and let us check out later than the stated check out time. The room was clean and comfortable, beds exceptionally soft and lots of tea, coffee, water and biscuits available in the room. We stayed for breakfast and wasn’t expecting much but it was ready and waiting for us when we came down from our room the breakfast was huge and set us up for the day. We will definitely be going back to stay here as it was everything we needed and more.

Really nice home made sunday lunch in traditional pub with friendly service. Great value too, would recommend.

Stayed here from Monday to the Wednesday this week as my partner wanted to come for her bday,I would highly recommend,room was comfortable and breakfast was great value and friendly staff and would definitely stay again

A very reasonably priced double room for an overnight stay - clean and convenient for the town and beach. A little bit of a squeeze for a double bed but very comfortable and value for money. Pay and display parking nearby. We appreciated the well stocked tea and coffee supplies in the room. The stairs (two flights) will keep you fit but it did mean that we were well above the pub so noise wasn't a problem.

I found this pub on the Google maps. I honestly don't think I would have found it without the Google maps. This pub is hidden away in Scarborough town centre. Staff customer service skills were good. I was made to feel welcome. Decent selection of beers on the tap. Prices were reasonable. Tables were clean. Yes I would go in this pub again
