Bettys and Nicks was always my favorite hair place.
They used to be friendly. Always good prices. And good quality haircuts.
They have definitely changed.
The last 5 or 6 times I went there, the service was rude, stuck up, doesn’t smile or greet customers. The hairdresser was too quick and careless.
I gave two stars instead of 1 because a few of the ladies in the back are friendly.
I don’t leave bad reviews for fun - I’m not being petty. They are so rude.
Terrible experience at this location. Never coming back to this place. Its a barbershop and no one knows how to trim a beard properly. Front desk person has really bad attitude. I wish I never stopped by here …. Worst experience!!!!
We had a very insensitive, classless hairsresser. Just came from getting my son a haircut there. The person giving my son a haircut was not very good with my son who has special needs. I will never go there again.
They try their best to take care of their customers. Hair stylist did great work on my daughter's hair having massive knots and tangles.
Awesome as always. I'm in my late 40s I've had my haircut. There since I was 18 by Adel on Austin n irving. But the owner Nick did my hair when I got sick with brain cancer. He was understanding about my issue n took care of me till I felt comfortable to go to my own barber. Nick is a good friend of mine since I was a a kid. I still go to Adel n on irving n Austin cause it feels like family...
Current base price is $10 now.
Did not seem queer friendly. They cut my hair quickly, spent less than 5 min, and made a comment that it looked like a man's haircut and weren't going to fight the client on the hair.
The person for chair #3 did my hair. I have an undercut with hair that reaches my shoulders on the top. I was having trouble deciding how close to shave sides and the person decided to use shortest cut instead of doing a longer cut and seeing if I liked that.
I also got a straight trim for my medium/short length hair and the person just put all my hair to one side and cut it. My previous place would go layer by layer and at the end would do little cuts at the ends to make it look more natural. My old place was $5-$10 more so that might also be the reason why the quality of service didn't feel as good.
Love this place. Have gone to other places but when needed they take care of you.
I've been coming here for about 15 years to the same lady and I won't go anywhere else unless I move out of state. Just the best of the best.
