I have been to this lovely chippy a few times now, it's so friendly the staff are so nice.
Everything is cooked fresh and is amazing.
cannot love this place enough. every time i'm in scotland, i make it a point to visit balfours. as soon as you walk in the ladies working immediately start chatting you up, getting your order or seeing how you're doing, etc. not only that but they remember EVERYTHING. none of the orders are written down but can be recited back with precision. i go there once every several months but they still remember my wife and i. they make you feel at home.

Great wee chippy with lovely staff and great food.
This is a hidden gem, a family run Fish and Chip shop. If you want freshly cooked food, quality ingredients, great prices and friendly service this is the the place to go. No fancy cardboard boxes and over inflated prices just good old fashioned fish and chips cooked to perfection. I pass three other chippies just to get my fish supper but its worth the journey. Give it a try you will end up going back time and again.

Food is always freshly cooked to order. Food is always excellent and never greasy.
Staff are very nice, friendly and you can always get a chat and laugh.
