Very friendly folks! Clean, very nice place to go for a few beers and some pool. Our first time there and a really nice couple bought us both a little beer (our first-time drinking that) omg! It was so good! I love friendly folks and bartender was so welcoming to us both. Definitely will stop back in next time we are in this area!
Bartender let us come in as the lone customers and drink with them even as they were closing up. They stayed open another hour just to entertain us. Quality people and affordable libations!
What a great local bar. Friendly people and the owner is great. Tony Poole was playing while we were there. If you get a chance don't miss this guy what a great entertainer. We'll be back as soon as we can
The Backyard is the real Black Mountain - Very friendly people, tall stories, beer and laughter.
Parking out front for newbies and bikes out back where there is a shaded porch. They have pool tables, a juke box of course and occasionally live music. Family’s welcome but they request children be gone by 7 PM so they can get ready for bed.
Down to earth , food reasonable prices , half way decent pool tables . Good people , dance floor room for stage and live bands on wk. Ends pretty good bands I play music so I'll give my Sig. Of approval. The back yard has a great big back yard room to do just about any thing you could think of , . The owners are find people they like it's our bar to and were all pretty much family and we our just that . Thank you BACK YARD we love you too !!! A great place to hang out with family and friends. And make new friends. Has great bartenders that can make great drinks. Good music. Come down and have some fun with us.
I just moved here 2 weeks ago and this place took me in as their own. Its a great place to relax at. Horse shoes cornhole pool tables kareoke a dance floor and not only great bartenders but great customers
Local place between Swannanoa and Black Mountain. Fun open mic jam session on Thursday nights starting at 7 p.m. . They have pool tables the only downfall is the parking lot has some bad potholes.
