This is the best place for lunch in Kendal! Delicious, fresh food with an amazing choice of tasty salads. I'm a veggie and opted for the Buddha bowl, but they also cater for meat eaters (my niece had the pulled pork ciabatta). The cakes all looked delicious too! Great staff & efficient service made the experience even better. It's all done very right here & I can't wait to come back.
we love the food here, but with 4 of us sitting down between 2 little tables knowing we'd be ordering coffee and food and needed the space for it, and then being told to move onto just the one little table when the rest of the cafe was near enough empty, was a bit awkward. One of us deliberately didn't order any food because there wouldnt be enough space for it, we only just about fit 4 coffees and 3 plates on the table and that's with moving the cutlery bucket and condiments onto another table. I get you'd want to fit as many people in as you can because it does get busy quickly but when we're on a table so small we don't physically have room to order as much as we wanted, it's off putting. The one of us that didn't eat was pretty upset by this so it's likely we won't be back again which is a real shame because this is one of our favourite places in Kendal

We had a delicious lunch in this vegetarian restaurant. A very wide selection of dishes on offer. Very nice coffee and desserts. Staff very friendly and helpful service was great also, would definitely go back.
Always a lovely experience. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable surroundings, delicious freshly made soups, sandwiches, hot sandwiches, salads and cakes.
The best quiche I've ever had! Food is excellent. Coffee and cakes you have to leave room for.

Nice and affordable choices of several dishes including sandwiches that are really nice and good looking and the salad comes with it. You'll have to pay extra to sit inside and there will be a queue on a busy and sunny day.
