I took my dog (Aussie-doodle) to be groomed by Jackie, at Jackie’s salon. I showed her a photo as an example of how I wanted my dog to be groomed. Just a trim and rounded out. When I picked her up 10 HOURS LATER, she was just shaved. Her body was shaved almost down to the skin. Her head was botched, not even done evenly as she didn’t go near her face or ears, she has long hairs hanging from her chin and her tail was not even touched. Her tail hair is long, the rest of her is just bald. She was NOT matted at all, she is brushed every night down to the skin to ensure that she does not mat. She charged me $70, asked for a tip and she did not even greet me when I picked up my dog, it was the receptionist.

Also when I dropped her off, the receptionist was very unprofessional. When I showed the picture of how I wanted my dog groomed, she made a snarky comment about doodles. They also lost her leash and harness for a bit when I got there to pick her up.

I do not appreciate any of it. I had an awful experience, I feel awful for bringing my dog there. I left in tears. My dog looks terrible, she left there very skittish. I will NOT be taking there again.

I wouldn't even give 1 star. My one dog was so scared and shaking and reaked like body odor after him being there for 6 or 7 hours. My other dogs haircut was chopped so horribly and they just tried to hide it by greasing her hair back so she came home oily. Do not recommend at all

I've been taking my dogs(4 of them) to Aunt Jackie's for years. She is so dedicated that she starts early in the morning and sometimes is still in her shop late at night, she is so kind to my pets, she pays special attention to any and all my grooming requests, and I wouldn't think of using another groomer.

My dogs face was never washed or groomed. They would keep her for 10 hours, even though I had an appointment. Every time I would go pick her up from there, my dog would be cowering in fear and wouldn't let me pet her. Although I have been going to this groomer for 8 months, I have just now been hearing stories of how she would treat the animals there. I do not and will not send my dog back there.

Excellent experience, Jackie is so nice and a pleasure to do business with. When we arrived to drop off my pup for grooming, she saw that my dog was a little nervous and she took the time to get down on the floor with my dog and put her at ease. Jackie is did an outstanding job grooming my Scottish Terrier. Usually when she gets groomed it takes a day or two for her to relax and be herself again but when we got home my dog reacted like nothing was different. Will continue to have Aunt Jackie's groom my dog in the future
