Decided to go here not been for years well what can I say. The place was deserted this should have been a sign and the fryer guy behind the counter looked miserable. I asked for small fish and chips whereby he replied there is no small so I agreed to regular fish and chips. I had to wait for him to fry it. When I got home the fish was small and really thin and over cooked really chewy in parts and not flaky at all. It actually looked like a small portion I paid £6.50. The chips were good that’s all. Won’t be coming back or recommending. Overall shoddy experience do not recommend.

Yep, same as previous reviewer, great fish & chips *when it is open* but seems to be closed at random days and times so I wasted my journey.
Still great - even though appears to have changed hands since last visit. Only got chips- cooked in vegetable oil so great for all diets but (arguably) not as tasty as animal fat. That being said... all happy faces and no complaints from our family order! Most items cooked to order so may have to wait a few mins but all the better for it.
Used to be a fantastic fish & chip shop 3 years ago, but beware, it's been taken over... Fish tastes pre cooked and the chips are disgusting, look and taste like they've been cooked before.... don't waste your cash... Avoid...
