I hate leaving bad reviews, but I am even less comfortable with knowing this place will continue doing damage to others if I say nothing....
Unfortunately, my experience at Argan Salon would be remembered for long (or at least a few months, until my hair grows back)...
I came in a few weeks ago and asked if they have a stylist who specializes in bleaching dark hair and in trendy short haircuts. I was affirmed they have exactly the right person, and that I would love the results.
That was not the case. The bleaching color results actually looked good, but I could never believe a hair stylist could cause such damage to my haircut.
The stylist accidently cut half of my head short spikes, and than tried to cover for it, saying it was major hair loss due to the bleach.
Well...... I have been bleaching my hair and cussing it this style for several years. My hair is thick and healthy, and even if it was truly damaged by the bleach, it would still be very odd how evenly and symmetrically half of the head just experienced catastrophic hair loss.... It just doesn't make sense and doesn't add up.
What makes more sense, and I went to get second and third opinions on this matter, from other hair stylists, is that Hasna screwed up badly.
I am not really touchy when it comes to hair. I mean, it grows back up... Nothing is permanent.... So bad haircut - no matter. With that I can live...
But this was not a bad haircut. This was extensive damage, that I need to work hard to conceal each morning, and that makes me look sick...
Can't believe I paid anything for it.... It took me a day to even understand what had happened and process the lies I was given.
Don't go anywhere near this place.
It's okay to make mistakes. Happens to us all... But making up stories and lies, and blaming anyone other then yourself for it, that is just unacceptable!
Mia is really good at what she does. I’m blown away by her work. She always finds the time for her clients. She did hair highlights on me and it was amazing work she did on my hair. Overall my experience was positive, they have a friendly staff and would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
This salon is nothing more then amazing! I have been several times and I love what they do to my hair and other services. This last service they got me in right away and made my hair look amazing! I even got the chance to be apart of a birthday celebration for Hasna's business partner that runs the front of the house. They were all so wonderful and kind and really feel like a family there. If you haven't been to experience Argan Salon please go it is so worth it!
I can't say enough good things about this Salon, I went in on a friend's recommendation because I have had a bad experience at another hair salon and needed hair help! Mia greeted me with a smile and a hug and was so kind listen to me and look at the picture I had on my phone of what I was trying to achieve with my haircut. She took her time and was just so kind. I love my hair cut, she did a fabulous job. I will definitely be back!!
I hate leaving bad reviews but I got my hair colored on Saturday. The color is very brassy and my bangs are uneven and about 1 inch long instead of 3-4 inches long. I don’t know why Jennifer cut my bangs so short but they’re literally 1 inch long. It’s going to take months to grow them out and it’s really really embarrassing and there’s nothing I can do to disguise the mistake she made when cutting my bangs shorter than anyone would want them. And the color is Orange and brassy. Really upsetting. She wrecked my hair.
My hair is really long and had not been dyed, so I was worried initially as I had never been to the salon. Well, I must say it was well worth the groupon! Yulia was my hair stylist and she achieved the exact results I requested! She styled my hair in a great way! Everyone in the salon was courteous and all the clients I saw come in and out were pleased. Will be back!
My sister and I have been coming here for 5 years and have seen many different hairdressers. All are excellent! I always get a great cut, color and style! I have never been disappointed! And they are very accommodating. Today, Mia rearranged her schedule to make room for my sister and me without inconveniencing any other clients. If there were more than 5 stars to give, I would definitely give them to Mia, Hasna and all at Argan Salon!
From the moment I walk into Argan Salon & Spa I feel pampered. The Salon has an extremely positive atmosphere. The technical expertise and warm treatment from every staff member is always outstanding. The salon owner has been my stylist for almost 10 years. I followed her from another hair salon when she opened this salon years ago. At first, I would only make my appointments with her. Occasionally, when she was fully booked, I started trying her other stylists. I have always been pleased, especially when I realized she not only requires them to be thoroughly trained and certified by the state, but then puts them through another training within her salon. I look forward to my visits to Argan Salon & Spa and highly recommend to everyone.
