Don’t really understand the poor reviews. I ate in, both the lamb doner and the chicken doner were tasty and premium. The food quality was high and the large portion was generous.
The staff were helpful and engaged.
Well worth a trip and really puts those run of a mill kebab shops to shame.
The servings used to be generous, but have now reduced for financial reasons. Tastes remains delicious.
The staff gave me the wrong change. Short by a couple of quid. The mix up was they gave someone else my change. That person had to give me two pounds from their pocket. Then the staff were just rude about the mix up. When I was looking confused about all this, they said I look like I've got no clue what's going on. But actually, they did not explain carefully or patiently what had happened, nor were they apologetic in any way. I found that experience quite unkind and unfriendly. It's like they were in a big hurry and annoyed with me for wasting their time, but the place wasn't busy at all. The food was pretty good, but I'd appreciate more patience and politeness, so sorry I won't be going back.
Best kebab shop in archway. Ali is amazing with his customers. Always has a laugh and a makes you happy. Iv never had a problem here in over 12 years

hello, my name is Edward Yates and i am a self representative "food critic". I like to think me and my partner (they/them) look for the best in most things but sadly she was as unable to find the best in archway kebab as she is in our private life. the food was slightly sloppy and tasted peculiar. My partner felt as though she had spent all the money for nothing. ultimately, the food gave us minor (love them) stomach issues, and i still refused to let her in to use the toilet. overall, i was as disappointed in Archway Kebab as Albert was in his mother when she received her yearly £1.50 pay from work in islington.
I tried the doner with the minimum of sauce so that I could get a good taste of the meat. Very nice & tasty kebab, advantage of sitting in helps as doner is best eaten hot.
