Best PlaceJuice Reviews

My original review was 5 stars - a pretty dip manicure that lasted 3 days - they started popping off like a press on nail would and it was literally just a dip manicure … my gel pedicure lasted an even shorter time. Don’t waste your money, unless you’re in a pinch & want the equivalent of a press-on nail. Frank the masseuse is awesome though. Would go back only for a reflexology shoulder massage from him.
This place needs to be shut down immediately. Every time I go back I am more disappointed and I will not be going back ever. I went in and asked for french tips acrylics with gel, they gave me a totally "new technology" with the word gel in it that cost 130 DOLLARS and did not bother to tell me the price until after one hand was already done, at which point I felt awkward taking back. The lady also did not warn me that the lamp would BURN my fingers, my nails literally heated up to what felt like 100 degrees and I almost cried it hurt so bad. She told me that this "technique" was "better" and that it lasted longer so I just said okay and accepted my fate. No this technique was not better because one nail ended up breaking off in my sleep 4 days later, which has never happened to me before. They also come up to you and politely offer you a 5 minute massage but present it like it is a courtesy and for free. Nope when we got the receipt at the end we had to pay $30 extra for three massages. I don't care that a massage costs money but it is so wrong of them to give a massage without telling or at least clarifying the price with the customer because a 10 dollar massage for 5 minutes is ridiculous. This is not my regular nail salon I only come here for basic last minute things but they cannot even do a basic french tip right. Like it looked like a 6 year old did it. And for the price they charge!! Nuts. I understand owning and running a business in the hamptons costs money but with the quality of the service it is so not worth it. Literally go anywhere else but here. -10/10 would not recommend.
They were very nice, but I am very disappointed in my nails. They were very aggressive with my nails and dis not follow instructions. The acrylics are crooked and the simple design was very poor.
Always the best dip manicure that actually lasts!
The girl I recently had was awful she was new and didn’t want to be there. After insulting me multiple times to where I had anxiety. Then is yelling at me to loosen up. How do you want me to loosen up when your miserable. Not to mention the prices are astronomical and work doesn’t last.
Very bad quality services.
We got pedicures and manicures.
The two ladies barely dedicated time and effort to get our hands and feet looking better.
I had nail polish on my skin, the cuticles where not cut correctly and had pieces of skin loose.
The nail polish was old, didn’t have a nice and shiny finish.
They were nice but defined not coming back.
My daughter needed her SNS redone & we didn’t have time to go to our usual, Vivi in Riverhead.
The quality was terrible at Angel Tips. She asked for blue, the lady insisted she couldn’t do blue on her. Not that they did or didn’t have it, just not for her. Then my daughter asked for what other colors and the woman insisted on “pink for you”. But then proceeded to just pick the pink, didn’t even give her a choice.
As a hesitant teenager, she was uncomfortable arguing with the woman and let her do it, but was so sad with the hot pink she was given.
They then charged $90, NINETY DOLLARS, for the nails. Vivi does it 1,000 times better for $40!!!! Her nails have been breaking and splitting within 2 days of having them done - again, at Vivi they last a solid 3+ weeks! This place is outrageous in every way. Zero stars would be better.
Worst nail salon in the hamptons. I got a uv gel manicure. One of my nails broke off less then 36 hours later. Angel tips also charged me 30$ extra for gel color on top of hard gel. If a salon is going to charge this much the quality should be excellent.

Quick Facts About Angel Tips Nail Spa

Strengths:
1. Excellent masseuse: Frank received positive feedback for his reflexology shoulder massage. Customers expressed a desire to return specifically for massages from him, indicating his skill and ability to provide a satisfying experience.
2. Dip manicure: One customer praised the dip manicure, stating that it lasted for three days. This suggests that the salon may excel in this particular service, potentially attracting customers who prefer dip manicures.
3. Nice staff: Despite negative reviews regarding the quality of service, multiple comments mention that the staff was polite, implying that the salon maintains a friendly and courteous atmosphere.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistent quality: Several reviews mentioned issues with the quality of the services provided, including acrylic nails being crooked and simple designs being poorly executed. This inconsistency raises concerns about the overall competence and skill of the technicians at Angel Tips Nail Spa.
2. Lack of communication on prices: Customers expressed frustration over not being informed about the cost of certain services until after the procedure had begun. This lack of transparency about pricing can lead to discomfort and dissatisfaction among customers.
3. Short-lasting results: Several comments criticized the durability of the manicures, with nails breaking off within a few days. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and skill in providing long-lasting results, which is a significant drawback for customers seeking quality and value for their money.
4. Overcharging for additional services: One review mentioned being charged extra for massages that were presented as complimentary. This pricing strategy can come across as deceptive, undermining trust between the salon and its customers.
5. High prices for poor quality: Multiple reviews expressed discontent over the high prices charged by Angel Tips Nail Spa. Customers expect that higher prices come with better quality, but in this case, the quality of services did not meet expectations, leading to dissatisfaction and a sense of being overcharged.
6. Lack of choice: A customer complained about not being given options for nail colors, resulting in dissatisfaction with the chosen shade. This lack of choice can leave customers feeling unheard and dissatisfied with the final outcome.
7. Breakage and poor product integrity: One reviewer mentioned that their nail broke off less than 36 hours after the service, indicating low-quality products or inadequate application techniques. This reflects poorly on the salon's ability to provide long-lasting and durable nail enhancements.
Conclusion:
Angel Tips Nail Spa has several weaknesses that outweigh its strengths. Inconsistency in service quality, lack of communication about prices, short-lasting results, overcharging for additional services, and mediocre product integrity are detrimental to the salon's reputation and customer experience. The positive aspects mentioned, such as the excellent masseuse and the durability of the dip manicure, are overshadowed by the negative feedback regarding overall service quality and pricing. These weaknesses indicate that there are significant areas in which Angel Tips Nail Spa needs improvement in order to provide a satisfactory experience for customers.
