Das "America's Choice Inn" ist eine rühmliche Ausnahme - sauber, preisgünstig und sehr akzeptabel.
Es liegt nicht unmittelbar im Ort Gila Bend, sondern einige Kilometer ausserhalb in der Nähe der Highway (dennoch sehr ruhig).

Location cannot be beat, quiet, little to no road noise, right next door to a Pilot travel center. Room to park the rig no problem. Front desk guy nice. Room remodeled but the shower surround wasn’t removed and has cosmetic damage, looks funny, the shower faucet too. Curtain had cosmetic damage. However the water pressure was good, nice temp, no local rotten egg stink or anything like that. Bed really comfortable, we needed sleep after two long days towing a cargo van. Continental breakfast was 5-9, nicely stocked, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, coffee, yogurt, muffins and breads. On the list for any upcoming trips.
Staff very friendly and accommodating. Am disabled and they moved things around so could be on ground floor.
Room was very clean and comfortable.. Free continental breakfast of coffee, cereal, fruit muffins and pastry. Location good for being close to main highway, restaurants, gas. Price very reasonable.
I’d been on the road quite a while, and I arrived a couple of hours before check in time. I had a raging head cold and I felt like the walking dead. Jay, the gentleman behind the desk could tell that I was exhausted and he graciously offered to let me check in early. It made a big difference getting those couple of hours of extra sleep, and I am very grateful for the hospitality. This isn’t the fanciest roadside hotel, but they do make an effort to make us feel comfortable. Sometimes it’s the people and their compassion that makes everything turn out just fine.
The remodel is really choice at this location! I stayed Aug 24th with a super late check in and the lobby was super cozy during a downpour of rain in the DESERT!! The blue-eyed sweet receptionist really made me feel safe and secure after we broke down and were forced to stay so close to the border. and she gave us great recommendations on how a simple fix like replacing a fuse to fix our broke-car that AAA told us was going to cost over $1000.00 to fix! Would definitely stay here again if ever we are coming this way down the I-8 !
All I can say is that the owner J and his wife along with their staff, Made my extended stay at America's Choice very comfortable. My room was a suite, Big and spacious. With a very cold air conditioner. I slept like a baby. Thanks J.
Worst experience ever! The front desk clerk was unfriendly and seemed bothered by our check-in. There are 3 floors and no elevators; not a huge deal for us but would be for those that are disabled or injured. We were a group of 6 with a reservation for 6 rooms. One person in our group was given a room that had someone sleeping in the bed. Another was given a room under construction and two of us were given rooms with a non-functioning key card. I had to have my key card replaced three times before being given an actual key, and the front desk clerk never apologized for the inconvenience. There were fingerprints and smudges on some of the high-touch surfaces in my room but I travel with disinfectant wipes so I used them. I also noticed cockroaches on the premises. And in the morning, there was no running water in my bathroom due to construction. I’ve stayed in several budget hotels in my life but I will never stay here again.
