My 12 year old daughter was given a gift certificate as a birthday gift. The gift certificate had NO expiration date however when I took her in one of women rudely told me it was too old to use and said they would not honor it. The gift certificate was only for $15 dollars you would think that their business reputation would be worth honoring a 15 dollar gift card especially since it did not have an expiration date but her attitude was very negative and nasty. I didn’t argue just said ok and left but it was probably for the best as the place looked old, a bit run down and actually not to clean. It’s was truly a bad experience and I will be sure to let all my friends and family know not to patronize this business.
Came here the service was terrible. Lasy at front desk was going back and fourth with a customer about a refund and bad communication . Once they were finished she didn’t even acknowledge my existence or need to be serviced. She just walked back to doing someone else’s services while I just stood there so I left and walked out . If you want a good service go to Hanancy Nails in Tinley ! They were so welcoming and friendly ✨
The chairs you sit in are filthy all type of stains on the armrests. The older lady who smokes cigarettes outside the front entrance did a horrible job on my pedicure it was a waste of money. I even pointed a issue out to her and she still didn’t correct it. I was getting a manicure and pedicure till I seen the terrible Job she did. Never coming back I see why the place was empty.
The service is nice. I've been there twice and for some reason, my nails have not been turning out as nice as they should. I think they use old polish or something. The good thing is, it's hard to tell from a distance, but I can tell by looking close up.
This used to be my go to place, even after the new owners took over and stopped the $40 combo. Never had an issue until today. Yesterday I came in and got a matching color with regular polish on my toes and no-chip for my hands. The color on my toes is the correct color, the color on my hands is not. Pretty sure she used the Mint Green when I wanted Carribbean Island, and thought I saw bottle, but I didn't see the label for the other so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I noticed the difference when I got home and the shop was closed. I went back today to point it out and see about getting it changed. They first tried telling me that there can be a slight difference between the shellac and regular polish, but when I pointed out that my nails were green and my toes blue, she argued that it was the right match. I grabbed the swatch and showed here the color I selected, and the color I got and she said "No, I remember you and they match". When I stated that I saw the Mint Green bottle, she said "well then we can check the tape, but it is the right color". I asked if I could get it fixed or set an appointed for the morning, and she told me it would be $20! Twenty dollars to fix their mistake!? Nope. I have been a regular here for 5 years, and after today, never again. $78 for unmatching nails and rude customer service.
The nail tech showed meticulous care with my manicure! I just so happened to go here after I left my job which is close. I live in Chicago & have been to hundreds of nail salons all over & this hidden gem in the suburbs far surpasses any in the “city”. My nails are flawless ???????? ???????? ❤️
