The salon was beautiful, but my nails came out very lumpy and misshapen. This is supposed to be an art, and the woman who did my nails was apparently not an artist. The black dip powder is still stained on my skin on day two, and I wash my hands so much that my knuckles always have little scabs on them. Appreciate the effort but I regret tipping at all and will not return.
I used to go to this place all the time until the pandemic began and they had to close. I am very disappointed with my trip back here. The woman I had was very rough and cut my fingers with the drill a few times. And she didn't even cover my thumbnail entirely, not to mention the color is so so sheer. She couldn't be bothered to add another coat. I will not be back. Not worth the $40 I paid with tip.
I went here for my wedding nails, and the whole experience was very frustrating. I wanted my own nails cut back because they were yellowed and had stains from hair dye and horse stuff. Sorry, but I wanted fresh white looking nails for my wedding, so I wanted new tips. The tech argued with me the entire time, and kept throwing it back up that I made her cut my own nails. Who cares!! I'm the customer and I know what I want. It was the most uncomfortable experience because she was so negative and argumentative. Then she was going to leave a big blob of dip on my thumb nail that was highly visible. I had to insist on her trying to dremel it down, but it still shows. She was very bothered and rude about it. I won't be back.
When I am in DeLand about 4 months a yr. this is the only Nail Salon that does the perfect job for me. The girls are wonderful, dip nails for me can last 3 weeks my mother-in-law gets 3 wks with gel. Check their web page nail art is beautiful also.
Waste of hard earned money and treated rudely to boot!
On my first-ever visit, I got my nails done with gel and in three days they already chipped. That either means bad quality of polish or bad technique, but I gave this location the benefit of the doubt and went back in (waste of time) to see if it could be repaired but was pressed for time and said I would come back later in the week. Went in today for the repair and was treated so rudely, I had to leave. If you want a relaxing nice treat for yourself and good quality for value, I recommend you stand clear of this establishment. I paid money for a suboptimal service and was then embarrassed when trying to get it fixed.
Made an appointment for me and my sister to get a pedicure. We arrived on time. Were told to pick put a nail color. After picking a color we stood there for moment until someone said 1 sit here 1 sit there and pointed to 2 chairs. The girl that did my pedicure did not greet or speak to me until I said "Hello, how are you?" She said "hello" and that was all she said until my pedi was done. The girl that did my sisters pedi did not speak to her either. Place did not seem very friendy. Overall I felt very unimpressed and will not be returning.

I went in, they immediately got me in for a full set. I had John. He was great. Great conversation. Done such a great job on my nails. I showed him a pic of the design i wanted and asked if he could do it. He said yes.. and he done it perfect! I couldn't have asked for better service! If you go here, i suggest you see if you can get John and expect to tip well.. he is worth it!????
