Got acrylics with powder on top that lasted me only a few days. Maybe the glue they used was faulty but Emily took really good care of my issue and Shirley redid my nails. I appreciated the service, love the new color!
The nails are done really well and I’m waiting to see how long they’ll last for. When I asked them to just put the letter A (N for my friend) they were very confused and didn’t know what to do. After 10 minutes of explaining it to them they finally got it and it looks really nice. My only complaint was that my lady seemed very rushed and I didn’t get the back massage :( it’s what I look forward to the most!
Went In for a gel pedicure was quoted 42$ over the phone okay. Came in and the lady doing my nails name tag Cathy had an attitude and persuaded me into getting a spa pedicure for an additional 35$. I didn’t mind so I told her I’ll do the spa pedicure instead of just the gel she kept saying gel will last longer having an attitude so I was like whatever I’ll do both. She basically did only the steps of a basic pedicure and I saw her beginning to paint my toe nails and I asked her did we do the spa pedicure and she said after we paint which I thought was weird.
The only thing I saw her do for the actual “spa pedicure” was give me a 8 minute mediocre massage with cheap lotion and one hot stone so I basically paid an extra 35$ for that.
Will not be going again. The place is clean and tidy but not worth luxury spa prices might as well go to one than here and she didn’t even remove the extra skin around the toenail just painted so something I could’ve did myself for free thanks for nothing
Namaste yourself with this place. Natural sounds to relax your body all around. One time I saw a costumer bring a crying baby to the nail salon and the salon staff made sure the baby stop crying by soothing him on its own baby stroller. It was amazing. Great people.
Today was the first time I visited 156 Nail Spa & I must tell you, it won't be my last. Although there's a great nail salon by my house; less than 5 mins away.. (and I say great because their nail skills are wonderful). I rather travel the 30 mins to this one. 156 Nail Spa is quiet & peaceful. No inconsiderate ghetto people here, talking loud & arguing with the workers. A peaceful & relaxing environment is priceless. It's well lit & well ventilated. Clean & orderly. The employees are friendly & courteous. Comfortable waiting area. Plenty of parking (1hr meters in the front & free parking lot in the back). All I can say is if you're looking for a new nail & spa.. 156 Nail Spa is a good place to visit. I recommend it! Hope you like it as much as I did!
Enjoyed the relaxing experience but it hasn’t even been 2 days and my nails are chipping :(
Update: I went back as the owner suggested and they fixed my nails by giving me a whole new manicure at no charge. Great service! I will be going back.

Worst experience I have ever had.. my nails look horrible she didn’t cut the my actual nails properly it was all edgy and broken and she just put the tips on top of it now my actual nails are growing out from the edge and the shape looks horrible and she charged me $65 then also she was asking for tip which turns out to be $76 for the horrible nails
