I had a great experience with Zenya Salon, I got the Goddess locs crocheted in an they turned out beautifully. She was fast and I didn't have to wait long. Her prices were very reasonable, I would definitely recommend her to you friends and family.
I made an appointment by phone with the hair braider and it was confirmed by her with a text message. My appointment was at 10am and I made sure to arrive 15 minutes early. Her place was not easy to find but I called her and she answered the phone when I arrived outside of the business. She never opened the door. Each time I called on my cell she would answer and say some "man" was to open the door. I could look in and see some salon chairs and an area to braid but I did not see any customers and the hair braider was not there. I called her at least five times as I waited outside. Each time she would answer and say she was coming down but never came. After a half an hour of this going back and forth I Googled another braider within close proximity to her shop and called that braider and asked could she do my hair. She said yes and I went over and she did a beautiful job on my hair. I don't know how well she does hair because she never did it but she is not respectful of appointment times made by customers.
Very clean and professional shop! Definitely the cleanest in Frankford. The women were very friendly and fast. I got my bigger box braids done for a fair price, and I was out of the chair in less than 3 hours. The shop is small, but that’s fine. Will definitely be the only place I go to get my hair braided.
I have been getting my hair braided here for a long time!! The reason why I keep coming back is because my stylist Awa gives the best service! She is very polite and she makes sure that my hair is in the best condition she truly cares about how she styles your hair and I am very grateful. I have recommended her and the shop to many of my friends and family because I truly think she is the best in town!
Me and my daughter got our hair done today, it was our first time there,it is a friendly environment. Our hair was done fast. The cost is reasonable and we are looking forward to returning , we left with smiles on our face. Great shop.
It's always an amazing and satisfying experinence. I been going since I was 12 till adult hood and my girl never let me down on my hair. It's always growing in fact my whole family goes their my little cousins, mom, grandma everybody I know and Alwa does a great job. I will refer anyone to her she will take you anytime and have you done in a timely manner.
