We ordered Chinese take out for dinner last night. The girl who took my order over the phone double checked it - and the receipt was correct, but one of the meals was wrong. We ordered chicken satay - but was given some other chicken and vegetable meal. We didn't notice until we got home, so there wasn't much we could do about it.
Cash only is pretty annoying, since it's 2023... I can't see a good enough reason to not accept card payments.
Overall, the food was decent and cheap. We would probably go back.
Ordered a New Year's Takeaway based on the other good reviews. They were very busy but the food was ready for collection at the stated time and was still nice and hot after the 6 mile journey home. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and efficient. Prices very reasonable too.
Drawn in by the smell while cycling past, very friendly and efficient absolutely awesome large battered pancake roll. Took a menu will definitely use again.
Wow.......just wow!! Just had F&Cs and it was probably one of the best F&Cs I've had in a very long time. Definitely be back.
Fish was nice but a bit small. Chips where mostly rock hard. I watched the lady serving them up and they looked OK and seemed to be a large portion but it made me think she was clearing up the old ones. The service was very polite but did continue to chat to her male friend and talk about customer's behind their back. I'll not be going back
