I have been coming to You & Me Spa Nails for over a year and have come out of each appointment with beautiful nails! The shape and paint job is always excellent and the service is quick, thorough and friendly. I have definitely found my forever nail salon! ????
i had went in for a fill. i loved the nails originally. and then 4 days later; nails started snapped off with the lightest touch. my nail should not break off while i am scratching my leg. i also paid extra for no chip, well one of the nails started chipping and i hade no clue why i was finding green all over. well, the second layer of polish wasn’t fully dry. only the top coat. feels like they were rushing to get them done.
Took my granddaughter here to get nails for winter formal. They turned out quite stunning! Best nails I have ever taken her to get! And I have taken her to many different nails salons!
UNSANITARY, RUSHED, AND SLOPPY
I don’t even know where to start with these nails. Once you walk in there is no one to great you at the front desk. It is extremely hectic because the business is poorly run. When you get to the front desk there was a sheet of paper to sign in. Clients put their names, the service being requested, and requested technician. I was baffled as multiple employees ran to and from the desk asking who was next. I was expecting them to follow the sign up sheet, because it had the clients in order. There were others sitting in waiting seats so there was some confusion as the employees asked who was next and you thought the person sitting besides you was next because they arrived before you. I ended up receiving a male for the acrylics and a lady for the pedicure. Next, this salon was extremely unhygienic. The nail technicians used the same nail filers and dremel pieces for multiple clients without cleaning or replacing them. While getting a pedicure clients were seated in massage chairs that were terribly dusty. I couldn’t bring myself to turn the chair on because of the thick layer of dust that covered the remote, it was repelling. All over the salon there was dust on equipments, windows, and polish bottles. I paid for an acrylic nail set and a pedicure which ended up costing a total of $61 without tip. You definitely get what you pay for seeing as respectable nail salons will charge $50 for an acrylic set itself. I couldn’t find prices for this salon anywhere online so I walked in blindly only to find the final price once paying. The actual service itself was decent. The technicians didn’t have perfect english(which of course wasn’t expected) and they also had masks on. The environment was a little loud so the quiet technicians led to difficulty talking to them. Both services I paid for were extremely rushed. This inevitably led to some mistakes. I asked for coffin nails but ended up receiving ovals with uneven trapezoids. My cuticles got zero attention whatsoever. After acetone got on my cuticles trying to remove some nail polish, they were never pushed back nor cut and I was disappointed when this happened. After the shape of the nails were cut and filed I was never asked if they were okay, if I liked it, or if I wanted to change anything. Since everything was so rushed I couldn’t get the time to look at them closely. Once the polish was on I was asked if the color was good and I said yes because I genuinely liked the color. This wasn’t a horrible experience because the employees weren’t rude but the service is what was being paid. This is why I will be giving this salon 2 stars
Wont be returning. I went in for a simple full set acrylic, no polish. They didn’t care for my cuticles, the sides of my nail beds, nothing. He just slapped on the acrylic and called it a day. Left my fingers dry, no cuticle oil, no hand massage. I still have glue and dry acrylic on my fingers. Highly upset and now I have to go home to see if I can fix them. Not to mention he made me bleed on three fingers.
I absolutely love this nail salon and all of the talented people who perform the services. They are all very kind and it’s a welcoming environment.
SO TALENTED! The workers are so nice and do a really good job. They take their time and make sure everything is perfect. I will be going here from now on.
