As always, a pleasant experience. Customer service was very very good, food also was delicious, all dishes were well made.
A bit disappointed with the Manchurian chicken, but spicy crispy chicken and others were really good. Good sized portions.
Regular visits to this restaurant and will return.

Nice family friendly restaurant. Very simple decor but flavourful food and reasonable prices.
The crispy chilli chicken was my favourite thing on the menu. Amazing as a starter.
Prawn toast also a nice starter (quite oily so wouldn’t have too many)
Chow mein was very tasty and had a slight smokey flavour.
The only thing that wasn’t great was the sizzling beef - odd flavour.

Yen Lin staff and management do not value their customers. Our group frequently dines at Yen Lin, and have been for many years! To be told a dessert cannot be changed or refunded after receiving a £4+ icy block of fruit because the company will be “losing money”…baffling!
Any good restaurant knows the basic principle that the customer comes first…Yen Lin have lost their loyal customers over £4 from a £200 bill!

Heard so many great things about this little niche Chinese restaurant close to Goodmayes Station for a number of years and took my family to visit there.
Everything on the menu was halal and they don't serve pork anymore although they do serve alcohol on the premises.
I ordered the Yen Lin Chicken Soup ???? as starter and that was absolutely devine. I've been told the Hot & Sour Soup is an excellent choice and will definitely think about ordering this for next time.
I ordered the Manchurian Chicken with gravy along with the Manchurian Mixed Special Fried Rice which included beef, chicken and prawn which was absolutely delicious and not greasy at all. The Garlic Chilli Chicken was another great choice and can definitely taste the flavours.
We also ordered the Manchurian Chicken Chow Mein and that was one of the best Chow Mein I've ever had and again not greasy at all.
Food is pricey but definitely worth paying extra for the quality. The staff were excellent and were very efficient and brought out all the food barely five mins after ordering and we went just after they opened at 5.30pm!
Would definitely most likely to visit and also order takeaway for collection. Wish they delivered takeaway but understand if they don't need the likes of JustEat or Uber Eats as even when we were dining, the amount of people coming in to collect their takeaway were high!
Travelled from South London as there isn’t any Halal Chinese eat in spots. Overall great food and wasn’t not disappointed, loved that it was nothing fancy. Food was quick and fresh. Menu is halal and has many options.
Loved the food, been here in 2019 and it didn't disappoint and again in Jan 2022, still great food! Be back again in August 2022. Back again for new years dinner and even though there are new owners the food is still delicious! See you again next year!
Absolutely disgusted with this place. I don’t understand how it has such amazing reviews. We went here as a family after we saw a video review of how amazing the food looked. Unfortunately it was all just for show, it was the most basic Chinese food we have ever had. There was literally no chicken in the chicken chow mein almost as if we had been given left overs. The only decent thing they had was the chicken satay. Let’s talk about their customer service….there was none. The waitresses were super aggressive even with the way they took our order, almost as if they didn’t want us there. The general vibe was very unwelcoming. Food came one by one…by the time the majority of food came the first dish that came was cold, like how are you running a restaurant like this? In all honesty what annoyed us the most was that the takeaway orders were flying out, many takeaway orders were made after us (huge orders) but they received their food before us, we waited over 45 minutes to get served, it got so bad that we asked the waitress to give us some crackers as we were starving.
Wow...what a nice humble place. Food is good and service was excellent. Friendly and polite staff. Also food fresh and came quick. Really busy as well which was a good sign.
